I can’t recommend Chloe Satchell highly enough! Buying a home can be such a stressful and overwhelming process, but Chloe made the whole mortgage side of things feel so much easier. From the very beginning, Chloe was incredibly helpful, approachable and patient. She took the time to explain everything clearly, answer all of our questions and make sure we understood our options. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and she was always there when we needed advice or reassurance. What really stood out was how supportive and proactive Chloe was throughout the process. She kept everything moving, communicated with me regularly and made me feel like we were genuinely in safe hands. Having someone knowledgeable and reassuring by your side makes such a difference when you're making such a huge decision. Thanks to Chloe, what could have been a very stressful part of buying my home was made so much smoother and more manageable. I am incredibly grateful for all her hard work and would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a mortgage advisor. Unprofessional ramsey branch

The branch in Ramsey are totally unprofessional , especially Charlotte who needs re -training as she is totally rude and disrespectful. She lacks people skills . The other staff are polite and smiley . In general , my experience was very sad and ruined my first time buyer experience . Would not recommend them to anyone who lacks experience in buying / selling a house . Lack of communication throughout the process and nothing ran smoothly . It also took 6 months for them to refund my conveyancing money after numerous emails and telephone calls .

A massive thanks to Charlotte for making my parents' house sale a very 'un' stressful experience! Living a fair distance away, Charlotte took on all the viewings and various other responsibilities, which was very much appreciated. It took only 11 weeks from the house going on the market to completion, which was fantastic. We used Sharman Quinney's panel of conveyancers, being allocated Tilly Bailey and Irvine, and they were excellent too. Charlotte was very professional and efficient throughout and we were very pleased and thankful for the excellent service she provided.

As a first time buyer

As a first time buyer with Sharman Quinney Ramsey, my experience was extremely horrible with this company especially Charlotte. All the other members of staff were professional, polite, kind and smiley. Charlotte was extremely rude, never smiled, totally unprofessional, never communicated and I believe has no people skills. I think she has to be retrained on how to work with people. To make matters worse, she never congratulated me in buying my new house and literally put the keys on the table and asked me to sign a document verifying the pick up keys. Very sad, as you would want someone to be happy for their purchase.

We recently used Amaan for our mortgage when moving home and cannot fault our experience. Amaan went above and beyond with not only our mortgage but the entire moving process. landlords steer clear

I am a landlord with two properties they looked after. For 18 months. on one property I was never paid my rent on time. I was always chasing for my money. There is no one in the office. You always have to leave a message and they don’t get back to you even my tenants had trouble reporting faults to the property as I said there was no one there for them so I would never get the message. I have had property for over 20 years and I have never come across a managing agent as bad as these. That is why I only stayed with them for 18 months. It would’ve been 12 months but you have to give them six months notice. Again I’ve never heard of that. My advice to landlords steer clear.

Ignored, Misled and Left Waiting Over 10 Months for Mould Repairs, 8 Months for Roof Repairs

My experience with Sharman Quinney Lettings has been one of the most stressful and unprofessional I’ve ever had as a tenant. Sharman Quinney knowingly let the property in a state of disrepair, with visible mould and a leaking roof, as confirmed by the independent check-in inventory at the start of my tenancy. Despite this, they took no proactive action to address it and left me waiting over 10 months for mould repairs. Emails show even the landlord admitted the mould was caused by the leaking roof, yet Sharman Quinney repeatedly delayed and gave contradictory explanations, at one point falsely claiming asbestos was present when the landlord had already confirmed there wasn’t. Appointments were missed or arranged without notice, and when I explained a proposed date didn’t work, Repairs Manager ignored my request and insisted it would go ahead anyway, despite my disability and stated need for email communication. When the repairs finally happened, they were unprofessional and unsafe, workers arrived without tools, used my personal broom to scrape mould, and left the area contaminated. My formal complaint about this was never logged, despite their policy requiring it. To make matters worse, Sharman Quinney later falsely claimed to be a “third party” uninvolved in repairs, which is demonstrably untrue. Multiple emails show their direct coordination of contractors and repair schedules. It’s extremely concerning that a manager would knowingly make such a false claim despite overwhelming written evidence. Even though clear evidence shows the property was let with a leaking roof and mould, they offered no apology or compensation, highlighting poor service and an inadequate complaints process. In short: • Property knowingly let with mould and a leaking roof. • 8 months waiting for repairs and 10 months for mould repairs • Health hazards ignored. • Appointments missed and communication poor. • Complaint unrecorded. • False denial of responsibility.

10/10 - above and beyond

I couldn't be happier with the service I received from Tawnee. Right from the start, she was really accommodating with the viewings and helped with the offer and negotiation stage. Tawnee went over and above at every opportunity, particularly when we had difficulties with the seller's solicitors. I felt like Tawnee was doing the job of both parties and gave me all the reassurances I needed that the sale was still on track even when it didn't always feel like it. She chased and liaised with solicitors and the seller with the utmost professionalism, while still keeping me in the loop and really working on my behalf. She never made me feel like I was asking too much of her, and I was so grateful to have her at the end of the phone or email when I needed things to be sorted or clarity on the process (which at times was almost daily!). Without the issues on the seller's side we would have got the sale over the line in record time, mainly thanks the Tawnee. My solicitor and the council were both singing Tawnee's praises and she's a credit to the company. I would definitely recommend Sharman Quinney to anyone looking for sale/purchase (they always picked up the phone, and the rest of the office were great at passing on messages), and if they're lucky enough to get Tawnee then I have no doubt it will be as good as my own experience!

A nightmare getting a refund back which took 6 months after constant emails and phone calls . Lack of communication, lack of smooth process in general and not a nice first time experience for first time buyer . The other members of staff are more experienced. However , would definitely not recommend if you have no experience in buying / selling a house .

I want crystal clear communication, and not telling you only what they think you want to hear. To have an estate agent that you know they are trying their best. Following up on leads. Potential buyers to be told the facts, and local knowledge is vital. Charlotte at Sharman Quinney in Ramsey has absolutely been one of the best. Kept me informed right through. I don’t normally do reviews unless they’re bad but she definitely needs recognition.
