Fantastic service from sale to completion. Nothing was too much trouble from all the staff. All calls always returned on the same day, so I always knew what was happening. A special thank you to Natalie for handling our sale, And also getting information from both solicitors and relaying this back to me. Great service and very professional - highly recommended.

GoogleThis is the worst agency we have dealt with so far in our search for our new home. Most staff we have spoken with on the phone are very rude. The agents are totally inflexible in arranging viewings saying things such as "the list for a property has been filled up" or "we are not accepting any more viewings on the property until we hear back from the people who have already seen it" or even "you cannot arrange viewing on another property until you see the one you have already booked" !! I can accept an agency's policies but this is something we haven't seen in any other agency in Manchester. To make things worse, the agency does not have any system in place to confirm viewings (e.g. texts or emails) so in a couple of times we had viewings with them we were uncertain as to whether anyone would be at the property. The agent we met in one of the properties we viewed was totally indifferent, checking her watch all the time and was totally unwilling to answer any questions. She didn't even bother to show the house to us- we were just left alone to check the bedrooms upstairs. But the last incident that confirmed how inefficient this agency is was when they cancelled a viewing we had arranged a week in advance just the day before, claiming that they haven't had any confirmation from us!! However, they had already talked to my wife about this viewing when she called them a day earlier to ask about another property we were interested in! When we explained this to them they refused to place us back in to the viewing list for the property and they didn't even bother to apologise for their mistake. This agency has serious managerial issues, very inefficient staff with no real interest in what they are doing and a totally incompetent system for arranging viewings and appointments. I cannot really find any reason why anyone would choose to advertise and sell their house with them.
I am genuinely sorry you feel unhappy with your experience with Normie & Company but at all stages we strive to deliver the best possible service. Our Vendors go to a great deal of trouble to prepare their properties for viewing and consequently, whilst it may quicker and cheaper just to send a text or email, we prefer to take the time to verbally confirm a booking. We are proud of this level of service along with the fact that our viewings are accompanied by a member of our team. I have looked at your file and note that you viewed a property with us at the beginning of April but despite us calling you repeatedly we were not able to get feedback as to your opinion of the property viewed. This was a shame because feedback allows us to offer other properties that may be more appropriate to your requirement but you never gave us a chance to do this. At the end of April we booked you a further viewing, which we confirmed. On this occasion you never showed at all. As you can imagine this is very frustrating for the home owner who had taken the time to prepare their property. At the beginning of May you contacted us again to book a further viewing and despite the previous incidents we booked you in. Prudently, we sought to confirm the viewing and called twice, leaving messages. We never heard back and by the time we did the Vendor had requested we cancel the viewing as they had made other plans. Finally, we are here to sell property, and despite your review I would invite you to call us if there are any other properties you would like to view. Although we will always have our Vendors interests at heart we will always try to facilitate viewings 7 days a week.
