Daisy, Kelly, Jackie, Kirsten and Bob were all brilliant during the property purchase process and kept nudging it along when things slowed down, remained patient but never lost sight and stayed encouraging when I was losing the will. After the purchase Daisy and Kelly have continued to support with my questions and concerns around those things that you find out only when you get the keys. I've felt supported through the process and after completion. I'm so grateful for the support of such a great team. Highly recommended.

I would like to leave a review for my property manager Tracey Lewis MARLA (Senior Property Manager) and inspector Ceri Jackson. Tracey has always been extremely responsive, hands-on, and professional. She is friendly, reliable and always prompt in replying to any queries or concerns I have. Since Tracey took over the management of our property, I have never had any issues, everything has been handled efficiently and with care. Our usual inspector now is Ceri Jackson, who has also been amazing. She is thorough, approachable and makes us feel well looked after during inspections. The experience with both Tracey and Ceri has been consistently positive and reassuring. thank you for looking after us.

Sawyer&Co are a great letting agent with lovely staff, they all work very hard in helping you and giving the best they can, when you need it. my property manager Jess Fowler is one of the best i have had as a landlord, she is excellant, she carrys out her job in a very competent and professional manner, you never have to ask her twice or chase her for anything, she knows her job and is at the top of what she is doing, she has never let me down in anyway at all and is always there and everything is done, like a magic fairy. I could not ask for better.

We also dealt with Kieran whilst James was away, who was exceptional. We had an issue with the seller’s solicitors which we came to him with on Friday afternoon and he got back to us with an answer on Monday morning.

We have been delegated Tracey Lewis as our Personal Property manager, and we cannot praise her enough. It gives us peace of mind knowing that Tracey knows everything about each property. Tracey fully understands our needs, and nothing is ever too much for her. Ceri Jackson is also our delegated property inspector, who is amazing. Sawyers is a very professional, friendly agent, so I’m delighted to be working with them. They have in-depth market knowledge and an excellent understanding of what landlords need and want. They respond to queries efficiently and professionally, they are very friendly and courteous, and, without a doubt, stand out from the other agencies in Brighton and Hove with their comprehensive service. Their office is welcoming and the staff are very approachable and knowledgeable. It is no surprise that a number of landlords have transferred over to them recently. Furthermore they install confidence that landlords’ interests are being looked after just as much as the tenants in the sense of renewals, that properties adhere to rental standards and everyone is informed throughout the tenancy. I particularly like how dedicated team members are assigned to specific properties so it is easy to get things done when need be.

Extremely disappointing experience dealing with Sawyer & Co on a purchase in Brighton. Our main point of contact was Bob Beaken, and communication throughout was poor - basic management pack queries went unchased for weeks, information was mixed and kept changing, and updates were inconsistent. The low point came when, after a brief and entirely reasonable visit to discuss timings with the seller, I received a call from Bob lecturing me about the visit rather than helping resolve the underlying delays that had caused the frustration in the first place. The seller withdrew from the sale shortly afterwards, at which point I'd have expected a competent, professional agent to be working to keep the sale together rather than adding friction to an already stressed situation. We had cash in hand and were ready to proceed quickly. The lack of proactive, professional handling from this agency made an already difficult process worse. Can't recommend

Sawyers we're really easy to deal with from the start. Once the offer was accepted I was put in touch with Lucy Cratchley who oversaw the selling process. Lucy kept me up to date with the sale and gave me so much information, I felt like I had nothing to be concerned about during the sale process. Without Lucy's help and information I would have had to contact my solicitor for any updates. However, Lucy gave me all the updates I needed. Sawyer & Co managed my rental property for many years, specifically Tracey who was always so responsive and knowledgeable that I always felt in the best hands, and had complete faith in everything she advised us. We then sold the property through Kieran who always seemed very motivated to achieve a sale even during more challenging times! Then once Kieran had achieved the sale, he handed me over to Lucy who updated me on progress every week regarding the buyer, their solicitor, my solicitor, etc which is a real nice touch because a sale can take quite a long time so you always wonder what's going on, whereas thanks to Lucy's personable informative updates, I had complete peace of mind. I have just come out the other side of a very complicated and drawn out sale / purchase. Due to some tediously slow, archaic conveyancing, several miscommunications, and due to the fact it was a probate purchase with many beneficiaries involved - it created the perfect storm for further stress and extra legwork in order to see this one through. Along the way, Lucy Cratchley of Sawyer and Co was in my corner every step of the way, and we worked very effectively together to nudge and reassure other stakeholders. She is great at communicating and very supportive, and judging by other reviews on here has clearly delivered the same excellent customer service to other clients. We have had our Panorama Unit 5 rental managed by Sawyer for the ten years since we acquired it. We have the full management option (which includes rent collection and all maintenance management, plus securing and handling tenants). In that time, we have found that all aspects have been handled in a fully professional manner. Tenant liaison is very good, liaison between us and the property manager is excellent, monthly rent payments are handled efficiently, and clear invoices, showing all transactions, are issued promptly. On the occasions when tenant changes have had to be made, we have found that the process has been handled to a high professional standard. The Sawyer property inspection regime is a strong element of their work.

My experience as a landlord has been that the staff at Sawyers work hard to make my life as easy as possible by staying on top of everything that needs to be done and that they also do their best to make sure that when repairs or maintenance are needed they're done quickly, to minimize inconvenience to the tenants. The Marketing Department produced a fantastic brochure to market the flat when it became vacant and there's never been more than a few weeks between tenancies.
