There tenants next to use have been the worst in civilised people I have seen in my life. They have smashed up there property drugs on the street police have been involved more times then I count absolute living hell for over 5 years. But somehow these people think it's fine to keep such an abusive rough tenant in the same property. Were sick to death of them. Weve complained so many times to them and police nothing gets done. There tenant dings loudly all day of the top of her voice were fed up. I will be taking legal action against this agancy

I arranged to rent a property through them and paid both the deposit and the first month’s rent after viewing the house with Joe. He showed me the property, and everything was discussed clearly or so I thought.

We see in second month renting our house out via Preston office !And so far it has been issues after issues They never explained charges any charges at all they just charged literally the whole months rent Then they used the horrible horrible horrible cleaning ladies !Then very very overpriced company to sort the j use out just to paint some wall they wanted to charge almost £900I’m shocked If you are a landlord STAY AWAY FROM PRESTON OFFICE AGENTS You will be out of pocket overpaying for every single thing they will not resolve your complaints at all !

Preston branch is a Waste of time

Waste of timeOn the market for 8 months, dropped the 99k price to 85k and all the viewings after that were Asian landlords wanting 30k off that !!!The biggest concern is they never answered the phone, I called over 100 times and got answered 3 times, left voicemail but no reply, totally unprofessional, never even had my property advertised in branch, but had plenty boards with property sold that could be removed, the sale board was on a thin stick in the garden that did not stand the weather, I asked to be sorted out but nothing, and after all this the sale fee would have been £2300, even if sold for 85000, double other agents, would not recommend at allDO YOUR RESEARCH OF OTHER AGENTS FIRST AS MOST ARE HALF THE PRICE FOR A BETTER SERVICE

Entwistle - Old Swan Branch

Old Swan Branch - As a company they are abhorent and make the process for first time buyers stressful and difficult. Rang up for several properties, no viewings offered as was supposedly under offer, took copious amounts of information, offered a paid package to search and offer first viewing options before properties come on the market. Bombarded me daily with sales pitches and mortgage advise deals emails and other nonsense. I have continued to block and report. Money hungry scammers.

I WILL NEVER USE THIS AGENT AGAIN, so unprofessional and unorganised and the most rudest women who deals with deposits. I had lived in my little flat for nearly 13 years very happily only be told that the owner was wanting to sell, this isnt the issue, the issue is how i was managed by the Allerton Road branch and the rude and obnoxious the lady who deals with deposits. i spent many hours cleaning the apartment before leaving and had photographic evidence of this only to receive a report to the contrary saying it was dirty dusty and in a state of disrepair, i looked after this property whilst there and it was spotless when i left. I really want to make a complaint about the whole thing but i cant find an email address to contact.

How do they get anything done?

Dreadful. Told us that we had to be there in person to view properties when we're trying to move from another city and work full time so we can't go in person. Won't do virtual viewings or phone calls for us and won't accept offers without viewing the property first. Shambles. How do people move cities when they can't be at all accommodating for anyone else's needs? Embarrassing company and embarrassing policies. Totally unhelpful staff who just sigh down the phone at you. Makes moving so much more stressful when it's completely unnecessary. Just offer virtual viewings!Edit: made the long trip for a viewing. They didn't even bother to show up. This was after changing the time at the last minute and getting our booking wrong multiple times.

A very disappointing experience, avoid.

A very disappointing experience, would avoid. My first tenant through an agent was unfortunately with Entwistle Green (Allerton branch) checks were supposedly carried out before moving in, but somehow huge debt was carried over and bailiffs still attend my property for them, even now they have moved on. I was continuously told one thing over the phone, and then an email would shortly follow to say something different, which shows poor communication amongst the team. My house was fully turned into a cannabis farm for the 12month duration of the tenancy, which the (third party) who carried out an inspection failed to notice or take photos of the many holes cut out of the ceilings, electric cupboard, or related equipment lying around. Once I carried out the 12 month inspection myself and saw the significant water damage, I referred back to the 6 month photos by third party and when zoomed in the evidence was there for them to see!Once I got the tenant out, I was owed rent arrears, and to add insult to injury EW asked for £150 for a check out inspection (same third party with attention to detail) and the rent/legal protection cover I'd paid for all along failed to protect me/refuse to assist because it was under 2 months worth of rent owed. I tried solid for a week to get in touch with the office, left multiple voicemails, and after emailing I was promised a call back and heard nothing. Even though I wouldn't dream about going through these agents again, I was surprised by them ignoring me, as fee's would be involved for them in helping me find a new tenant. Overall shocking experience with this agent, and was enough to put anyone off renting property out.

Received the keys today and are so pleased firstly with how the whole purchase process went, and secondly with the state the vendors left the property. Thank you all for your hard work, I appreciate it was difficult trying to get the job done whilst trying to chase me up halfway around the world! DON'T BOTHER

Entwistle Green (St Helens)Unfortunately I have to give 1 star review and even that is being generous. After telling us that we were going to be given another contract after our renewal date by the way a week and a half later we were issued with an section 21 no fault eviction so they lied. Apparently the landlord was sentenced to 10 years in prison which has nothing to do with us but when we did find a property they wouldn't allow us to leave earlier. They lied from the start and then we get given a council tax bill for 4 days after we moved out. We moved out on the 24th November they have charged us until the 28th November. STAY AWAY FROM THIS RENTAL AGENT. I SERIOUSLY WOULDN'T GO THROUGH THEM AT WHATEVER THE COST. There unscrupulous and pushy and useless and the staff turnover is terrible.

Could not be happier with the service…

Could not be happier with the service and support we have had from Entwistle in the Widnes/Runcorn area. We have been in contact with Amy for the last few weeks who has been a live saver. My mum has been looking for a new house after receiving a notice from her current landlord. Every agency or rep we have spoken with has been extremely unhelpful, it came across judgemental as soon as we mentioned my mums disability and the support she needs. Amy has gone above and beyond to make us feel valued and supported and did not stop trying to help us. The constant communication and reassurance made us feel so at ease and has made the whole transition so much easier. I can’t thank you enough!l and my mum is extremely grateful.
