Beals stole our £2.5k deposit despite leaving the house exactly how it was when we moved in. Contacted Molly Mae who put me through to Hayley Gooding and Kirsty Millis. They both ignored my emails over and over again, obviously hoping I would get bored and eventually give up. They are still yet to reply and refusing to engage at all in any talk of the stolen deposit. While we were living in the house (that was full of black mould just to add), they would often email saying we hadn’t paid rent even though all of us had. They obviously thought they could squeeze more out of us, hoping we weren’t paying close attention. DO NOT rent from this company, they will steal whatever they can if you let them.

We have awarded Beals 3 stars only because we did not quite get over the line after 12 months. This might not be too fair given market conditions. We could not fault the efforts made, especially by Sarah and lately Akshay and Holly. At all times pleasant, polite and extremely helpful. My only regret is that we didn’t work with Akshay sooner.

All I can say is they will sell your house but that is where it ends! Once they sell your house you pretty much get shelved until fingers crossed you’ll complete, we were very lucky and if it wasn’t for myself doing most of their work I would have still been at my old house. We had such an appalling experience with the Beals at north end where they couldn’t even keep us updated which is expected for the fee they charged us. I was speaking to all the other estate agents because Beals wouldn’t bother to call them back and find out what is going on down the chain, in the end me and the rest of the estate agents in the chain agreed to cut Beals out of any contact as they were so hopeless! At one point Beals didn’t even contact me for nearly a month, not even an update. They were lucky my solicitor tried to establish contact with them otherwise I wouldn’t of paid them a single penny! My advice is to avoid this branch and company and pay a little more and get a better estate agent and make your life a lot easier than mine was.NegativeValue
