GoogleThe review below by Carly Glass is a fully accurate representation of Peter Alan Pontypridd. I never intended to be a landlord, but found myself in that situation. Living away, I thought best to have someone manage that for me, and that was Peter Alan. Started off well. As the years have gone on though, things have got worse. Now instead of managing it, they prove to be inept at best, and at worst, completely avoiding me. I have not had an inspection of my property for over three years, despite it being in the contract of an annual report. I am not the "typical" landlord, wanting more money. I just want to know that my tenants are keeping my house in a considerate condition. The impression Peter Alan give me is that they are happy to take your management fee every month, but do precious little to earn it.

GoogleA big Thank you to Abbie Davies and Chris Williams for their help finding a suitable property for us to rent, and I couldn't be any more happy with the service they provided from start to finish they made things as seamless and stress free as possible From start to finish, Abbie is very friendly, approachable and nothing is too much trouble. Chris really knows his stuff and responds to any questions fast. and together they are a great team to work with She guided me through the entire process with ease and made sure all my questions were answered promptly. GoogleI've been looking for somewhere to move to in South Wales for a couple of months now and my experience with the various estate agents and landlords hadn't been great. From people not getting back to me, to virtual viewings that never materialised, my experiences had been completely frustrating. As my hopes began to fade I sent out an email to various agents outlining my requirements and explaining my difficulties thus far. In no time at all I had a call from Macy Chinn at the Pontypridd office of Peter Alan, who was understanding and sympathetic to my problems, and suggested a property that fitted the bill. Within 48 hours I'd had a video virtual viewing, agreed to make an offer to rent the property, and had filled a full application. At the time of writing this I'm waiting to find out if I've been successful but that's immaterial - I've been SO impressed with Macy and the Pontypridd office of Peter Alan for the way they've been polite, courteous, professional, and helped restore my confidence in estate agents. Thank you guys - and I really hope to be moving into my new home very soon.

I just rented a property with this branch and everything went through perfectly , Caitlyn and Abbie were absolutely fantastic and I couldn’t recommend enough honestly , they both showed great team work and were awesome , everyone else in the office was so polite and asked me how my day was going and made the effort towards me , I dropped my walking stick and the gent picked it back up for me so kind! As an elderly pensioner I’m not the best with understanding how renting works with the terminology for things but Caitlyn went through everything step by step with me and made the process to easy, Thanks so much again will definitely rent again with you guys!

FacebookReally, really disappointed and frustrated. My partner and I were due to meet with an “Abbie/Abby” today (27th of May, 2024) to view a property in Ton Pentre. This appointment was booked on the 20th of May for the 27th of May at 4.45pm. My partner and I arrived at the address at 4.36 eager to view the property. At this time, Abbie still had not arrived but this was not alarming as we were early. We waiting outside the address with our 2 year old daughter in the picking rain until my partner had to return to the car at 4.42 as once again; nobody had arrived. I decided to call the Pontypridd branch at 4:45 (the time the viewing was due to begin) and spoke with a Matthew who re-assured me that we were booked in and that it was likely Abbie was running late as she was on another viewing before us. Okay. No problem at all. Completely understandable. At this time might I add; absolutely zero correspondence from “Abbie” to say that she was running late or would be arriving late” The rain became heavier at this point and “Abbie” was still not at the property so I returned to my car and waited still. Eventually, after 37 minutes PAST the appointment time, (5:17pm) my partner and I came to the realisation that this “Abbie” was not attending and had no intention of notifying us that she would be attending. In short; we dragged our daughter out of the house only to wait around for 45 minutes for nothing. Thanks to the laziness and selfishness of this “Abbie” So we wasted our time; our daughters time (who at 2 years old; was growing rapidly unsettled with all the waiting) and now; haven’t even viewed the property neither. Absolutely embarrassing. I would recommend everyone staying clear of this firm. Fuming. This situation could have easily been avoided if Abbie had the decency to let her clients know what the situation is. To add; it is now 17:46 (1 hour and 1 minute past the appointment time) and still zero correspondence from “Abbie”. Thank you “Abbie/Abby” for wasting me and my families time! You should be ashamed of yourself and I seriously hope management deals with you accordingly before you cause their business any further damage.

She is professional and dynamic, she has been a breath of fresh air in the process of selling my property. She will not (typically) tell you what you want to hear but the truth, which is what you need during this process I would highly recommend her, as its not just the company but the people that make the real difference.

GoogleReally helpful people. Luke who was on his own the Saturday the we popped in was brilliant. As we're moving to the area and don't know alot, but Luke was more than happy to help us look at areas of interest on a map and then discuss commuting times and what were in the areas. Also Lee who was the guy who showed us around the house we were interested in was great too. They epitomise the helpful and happy vibe we picked up around the town.

GoogleI met Jamie Hyett 6.5 months before I became his customer, I was buying not selling through Peter Alan. I was messed around, lied to but my estates. Jamie guided, supported, listened and helped going above and beyond as when I lost my second buyer I assumed I was losing the house of my dreams. Jamie was determined to get me the only house I wanted and he worked his magic . I had to leave the estate agent selling my house after the lost soul destroying experience with them, thinking my only chance after 6.5 months is getting Jamie to sell my house. So I became his customer and Peter Alan got mine on the market. I eventually sold mine and we've been in our dream home 10 weeks now and it's even better than I could of imagined and from when I viewed it. Most perfect home and location I kept thinking I was losing until Jamie took control of the sale of my last house. I work very close to Jamie's office so I'd be forever nipping in sometimes upset and stressed but never once was anything too much trouble. He aways made time for me with a big smile. Jamie you've changed my future, I love in the most perfect location for myself and my dog in the most perfect house. Dreams do come true and without Jamie mine wouldn't of. You started off as the estate agent I was buying through then became my friend. I wish you and your family a very happy future too 😊

GoogleDo not ever use this company for your lettings management, I used them for 2 of my rentals for 2 years, after 1 year I realised this was a mistake and tried to cancel and they hoodwinked me to stay by offering me a refund of the management which never came and was ignored. They even tried to get maintenance jobs done for astronomical prices, so I ended up sorting the by myself and still paid their full management. Every month they just deducted rent money for anything they saw fit including an automatic paper statement of their deductions from me!!!!. After I did eventually leave they then tried to use their terms to threaten me stay even though I had already given written notice. My new agent has been a breath of fresh air in comparison and I would never us Peter Allan again.
