Jennifer Roberts has been absolutely amazing through the process of selling my house. Originally dealt with a different employee of Darlows Pontypridd which started off unprofessional. However, Jennifer took over and within two weeks had sold my house, there were an amazing amount of viewings within that time frame and Jennifer gave me constant updates with feedback from viewers. An absolute key asset to the branch and went above and beyond to make sure I was catered for every step of the way. Fantastic Service from Jennifer and would recommend in a heart beat!

The service provided by Darlows has been amazing, especially given the house sale was tricky at times. I can’t praise Jennifer highly enough. Looking for a house can be very stressful indeed, but Jennifer has found me various properties that fit what I’ve been looking for and made the search a lot easier. Both Gayle and Jackie at Darlows Pontypridd were ever so helpful during the purchase of my new home. This is the second time I've purchased a house through Darlows and each time has been simple and stress-free. Jackie was always available to talk if I had any concerns and had a good working relationship with the solicitors I used, so she was able to chase them for information with ease. Gayle showed me around the property when it was first on the market and I confided in her that I had been struggling to find somewhere to live due to cash buyers undercutting me. In actual fact, a cash buyer did put an offer on this house and the vendor initially went with them! For some reason, they pulled out and Gayle called me before the house went back on the market to let me know. She said that she felt sorry for me and knew how much I loved the house, so she thought it was only fair to call me first and my offer was accepted right away! Thanks so much to both of you for all your help! :) I love my new home!

The experience so far with the team in Pontypridd has been excellent. Gayle was so helpful and was more than willing to do a video call so I could view the house .When I wasn't able to view in person.She submitted my offer promptly and all communication has been excellent. Charlotte answered my query email instantly with a call back which was refreshing. It was nice to actually talk to someone rather than just receive an electronic response. I'd had a negative experience with another estate agents which led to me terminating a purchase after 10 months of miscommunication and false information. The straightforward and honest approach by Gayle and the team has renewed my faith and excitement for my future move . Highly recommend Darlows Pontypridd.

We put our house up with this company and after 2 to 3 months without any viewings or even being advised of any interest, other than being told, when my wife rang to enquire, that there where just a few calls asking about the location of the property.My wife then phoned to explain to the sales manager at Darlows, that we had made a decision to take our property off the market as we felt it may not have been the right time to sell to which the manager agreed.Arrangements were then made to have the sign taken down and the property taken from all marketing sites. All good we thought.Then, my wife received an email with a standard notice of Darlows being able to still claim commission in a case where a sale is made to anyone introduced by them, which is acceptable and reasonable. However, at the bottom of the email it listed a number of people they claim to have introduced to us, which is incorrect information.We have had no viewings booked and no calls by Darlows advising people being introduced to us. This kind of tone to an email with an almost implied threat of action is so unprofessional and unethical. We signed up with the company in good faith and feel shocked they are taking this stance. We now regret signing with them and would, from our experience advise others to stay clear of them.In addition we were pusuaided to pay £65 up front towards, what we understood, was towards a set fee for the legal services / conveyancing.However, we were then contacted by a legal firm who said were referred by Darlows and told us we had to pay them an upfront fee. When we advised that we had already paid a £65 fee we were told this fee was nothing to do with them and was a charge Darlows charge thier customers for introducing this firm to them. A bit naught we think and not clearly explained. Our experiences dealing with Darlows has not been good we would not want others to experience the same. We have been left with a bad taste in our mouths and a not very good impression of them to say the least.It amazes me how companies like this spend so much on marketing themselves to get clients, when all they have to do it look after people in the first place.

From the initial valuation which was realistic, when compared to some highly inflated figures from some other estate agents, through to identifying a buyer before the house was even advertised, to the admin support once a sale was agreed. In a few days, my feedback was taken seriously and I had a successful viewing of the property I'm interested in…. Thank you Elinor!Shocking customer service! I called to enquire about a viewing & the lady I spoke to sounded bored. I asked about a viewing for a property I liked the look of & she bluntly asked “have you got a house you have to sell”, with slight attitude, which took me back a bit. I said yes, to which she sighed, quite loudly & replied “fine, I can book a viewing” - if first impressions count, then I’d advise that you put people on the phone, who actually know how to engage clients. What sort of attitude is that to have, when your customer facing?
