£25 for a 2 minute reference is a joke....All about the money, customer service/satisfaction comes second unfortunately.

Thank you for taking the time to post this review. We are disappointed to have been awarded a one star rating and have discussed this with the staff. I can confirm we tried to contact you on the day of the appointment by various means, phone, text and email, and our last message was a voicemail late in the afternoon saying that as we had not been able to confirm the appointment with you, unless we hear back we would not be able to attend the viewing. Your only contact with us on that day came after our office in Pontefract had closed and you spoke to our out of hours receptionist to say no-one had turned up to the appointment. Had you replied to our earlier messages we would have been there. I’m sorry that you missed out, we did give you the opportunity to rearrange the viewing when exchanging emails the following morning. We reported damp in February and have only just been contacted back to say the damp won't be fixed as the landlord can't affordit. The fact that the letting agent think the landlord's response is reasonable just proves how much this company DOESN'T care!!

Since moving into our house we’ve received nothing but issues.The staff at Martin & Co are rude and disrespectful. We’ve had to speak to them on numerous occasions after not receiving responses to emails and have received sarcastic/ rude remarks every time.

I recently purchased a property using Martin and co (Cardiff branch). The service was wonderful, the people were helpful and friendly. They helped get the completion date moved forward and were there on hand when I needed them. I would recommend and use them again.

Absolutely disgusting, no care for anyone moving into their houses or flats, never have time to fix problems in property. They do not clean, or refurbish at all pre-moving in which I think is disgusting when they make so much money. Lazy and unprofessional.

Dreadful company. Totally incompetent maintenance department. Do not reply to emails with regards to urgent repairs or any repair in fact. Fortunately, we are able to leave the property but some are not so lucky. Unprofessional letting companies like this should be struck off.
