Very terrible service. Unprofessional and rude agents. I traveled 3 hours just to view their apartments, despite sending me a wrong address they did not take responsibility for it.

Would not recommend. Unprofessional, uninformed and unresponsive.Takes over a week to receive a reply and even then you're passed from one member of staff to the next, with no-one seeming to have any knowledge on how to help with simple requests. Friends have had similar poor experiences. Will avoid using Martin & Co for future properties.

Hi,As with most people I'm not a huge fan of estate agents but Andrew Dear at Martin and Co was brilliant to deal with. we were the buyers so he wasn't employed by us but we found him to be honest, helpful and very efficient throughout the process. I would really recommend him to both buyers and sellers.Chris

Should be a zero score. The westcliff branch dealing with property rental are very unprofessional to landlords. Unless you rent to whoever they say they are not interested. They are only interested in the money and not in providing a comprehensive and supportive service. Much better agents in local area. TOTAL Non listeners avoid big time.

On entry the office was clean and tidy and staff were friendly and helpful with good knowledge of the areas i am interested in. When viewing a property the agents were on time ( bonus) and answered all my queries. From my experience I wouldn't have any hesitation using these guys.also I would recommend on that basis.

I have the most horrible experience with them, They are holding my deposit and not want to give to me back, They accused me of the damge in the flat, and when i told them i want to see the damage i been told we not allow!!!!They serves most bad experience in my whole life👎👎👎👎👎👎

Went with Martin and Co I few years back.They lied on the terms of the contract about the electric bill. Three years later I get hit with a CCJ after they falsified information. I've successfully fought them in court and won now. They also refused to return deposit and this was lies as well.

Had no trouble with Martin and Co until recent horrible experiences with a property manager at the Worcester branch, who has been sending emails with threatening language regarding extra bills (for damages not pertaining to our household). The property manager ought to take responsibility rather than bullying the residents into doing his job.

Hello Melissa, I’m sorry that your tenancy ended earlier than you had hoped for, and that you felt the need to leave this review as a result of the dispute over your deposit. As you know we use an independent inventory clerk and his report forms the basis of our discussions about the return of a deposit at the end of each tenancy. GoogleI moved into my new flat just before xmas and all the staff i have dealt with in the Pontefract office helped make the move as smooth and as stress free as possible. If ever I have had a question or a reason to call the office everyone has always been very helpful and courteous. Thank you very much.

They dont help with complaints at all. You can call up, email, go in to their office and they'll act all nice, say they're going to fix what you want but they never will. They're terrible. I've rented many houses with other estate agents in the past but they are by the far the worst.

Awful service from start to finish. Numerous issues with the property, including mold on windows and doors, security gate never working, broken buzzer and intercom. We’ve now been out of the property for 3 weeks and no sign of any of the deposit being returned. Avoid at all costs.

Liars. Unprofessional. Useless. Landlords should NEVER use this Agency as they only do 'ad hoc' duties for the Managment Contract and do not care about the standard of the property nor the Tenant(s). Their Beeston Office (NG9) is SHEET!

Worst agent I've ever rented with. Very poor service. I have rented a property managed by Martin and co and can say that this is the worst experience I've ever had with an agent. Customer service is absolutely terrible. Staff are incompetent and unresponsive. Worst agent ever. Do not recommend at all. Avoid at all costs.

GoogleMartin and Co Pontefract have been absolutley amazing from start to finish. Been in our house for 2 weeks so far. Lucy and Charley have been so lovely. Always get back to me promptly. Excellent customer service. Super happy. Thanks guys. Other staff also have always been super friendly on the phone when I have called in too.
