I had a really great experience with this agency while buying my house and couldn’t be happier with the service I received. They went above and beyond when it came to arranging viewings and really took the time to understand what I was looking for. Luke was absolutely amazing. He asked the right questions and carefully selected several properties for me to view that genuinely suited my needs, especially taking into account things like having dogs. Every viewing felt well thought out rather than rushed or generic. He was also incredibly helpful in answering all the questions I had and explaining everything clearly throughout the process. Everyone at the agency was friendly, professional, and clearly knew what they were doing. I had viewed quite a few houses with other agencies before, and the level of customer service here was noticeably better, honestly, I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. I would highly recommend this agency to anyone looking to buy a property. The whole experience felt supportive, professional, and genuinely client-focused.

We had multiple issues on selling due to difficult solicitors with the buyers but Rachel dealt with everything for us and did her best with dealing with everything. She was brilliant. Very poor experience, I cannot recommend using this company.

We marketed our house for the required ten weeks with John Francis Killay as they were selling two bungalows we were seriously interested in. The initial contact was with Grace who was excellent, the photographer/measurer came out and made a complete balls up of it requiring me to re-measure the house myself. We had several viewings with Daisy who was also excellent at her job. Unfortunately things went downhill from there, first the phones were down for a week meaning that potential viewers had no way of arranging an appointment. Two weeks ago we had two viewings booked on consecutive days, we came from holiday early to ensure the house was presentable before going out. Nobody turned up.(Ring doorbell) The following day, nobody turned up . There was no phone call or e mail to advise us of this. I called the office where Josh advised me that the first viewer had cancelled and that the second viewing was cancelled due to the staff member going sick. He re booked the second viewing for the following Friday and assured me that these people had their house on the market. Just after coming off the phone another message was sent to me with a booking for the following Tuesday. I called the office the following day to ask who the person was. During this conversation with Amy who was helpful I mentioned the Friday couple and was told that they hadn’t had their house valued, let alone marketed it. I didn’t want people viewing who couldn’t even bother to value their own home and asked that they be cancelled. That left the Tuesday viewing , a first time buyer coming from Kent apparently so once again we sorted the house and garden and went out. Nobody turned up. I phoned the office twice that afternoon and left a voicemail asking for feedback. No reply received. 8th April I attended the office to get my key back and take the house off their books to move to an independent. I think my attendance was expected as an immediate apology was given by the lady in the office as soon as I introduced myself. I asked what had happened to the Kent viewer but no information regarding her was on the system. Read into that what you will but I am of the opinion that this was a phantom viewing added to keep us on their books.

Rachel from the Pontardawe branch has been so so helpful to my partner and me whilst searching for our home in Wales. We were unsure how best to sell our home to achieve the quick sale that we required. Katie from John Francis was great with her valuation and getting a nice listing up on the website. She suggested we sell via the "modern auction method" with their I AM SOLD collaboration. Everything worked very well. There were a few very minor delays on account of some lender issues, but on the whole we were kept well informed by I AM SOLD & Dylan at JF Pontardawe. The price received was a little under the initial valuation but a very fair price overall. The I AM SOLD method gives the buyer impetus to complete in a timely manner, which is mainly a good thing from a seller's perspective. We are very grateful to you all for getting everything sorted and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone selling by this method and through this agent. Thank You

You are simply the best........

If I could give the team at John Francis in Milford 10 stars I would! It was only by accident that I chose this agent. I had just left my dogs at the groomers next door and my son reminded me that I kept saying I must find an agent! So I did. Thank God I found this one. Because they really go over and above for you. They are young, charming and you feel as though you are no trouble and always come first! What's not to like! I was very impressed with the photographs taken for the blurb on line .When I saw them I said I nearly put in an offer myself.! They were superb, that's a real talent. I decided to look on line to check out the competition, like you do, and was amazed that a place I know that is really nice and would overshadow mine, looked really ordinary and I probably wouldn't have gone to view. It made such a difference. It's the small things that make a big difference. I wasn't in a hurry to sell at the start so didn't ring to chase them up or anything, thinking I would have the whole summer to get ready to downsize. Wrong!!! It took 0nly 3 viewings and I had an offer and it is now sold! Amazing! It's a good job I work well under pressure because it is now all stations go! the hardest thing I have to do now is decide which property in my village to choose for my downsize! That is a great problem to have!

I have worked with all of the john francis office for nearly 20years not all is as it seems with a few of these reviews ,one wer the decking was rotten, I actually worked on ,I attended and told jf most of the decking was rotten and a lot of the sub base was as well ,to be told by the llandlord I only want the bear minum, ie only change what is rotten not anything else ,so that us what was done ,I attended many times with tenants issues, full gutters ,windows blown ,etc to be told llandlord will not have it done ,she also new of the dogs as was requested when tenancy started ,im not saying jonh francis are the best they make mistakes as do all ,but there is always another side

Poor communication and service

We put our house on the market around 3 months ago with a local branch and had a few viewings in the first couple of weeks. Recently had 3 viewings booked in but nobody turned up and we weren’t informed, so we think they were phantom viewings for whatever reason. Really inconvenient after all the cleaning/ tidying involved. They do not communicate, would definitely not recommend.
