GoogleOverall our experience was plain sailing and smooth thanks to the team at sweetmove. Even when we didn’t feel right with a property, we felt reassured to find the right one for us by the advice and guidance from sweetmove and not once did we feel judged as we felt we were messing people around but no judgement was made and we got our home.

GoogleFrom my first enquiry Emily explained everything thoroughly to us, including the costs and process. I wanted a quick sale, Emily arranged for someone to come and take pictures and put it online quickly. We sold our house within a matter of days. I have never sold a house before, Emily made it an easy process and made us feel at ease. When I communicated with other staff at Sweetmove they were always extremely helpful.

GoogleMy sincere thanks to the team in the North Berwick office for the professional, positive and efficient service received during my recent property sale. Selling during a pandemic was never going to be entirely stress-free. However, from my first contact with Diane Jennings I felt I was in safe hands. Diane and her team ensured that I was supported throughout and kept informed at all stages. At our first meeting Diane provided expert advice on how best to present the property, including the benefits of having a video presentation. She also provided reassurance about the additional safety measures required for viewings. In just over a week, a full marketing report and breakdown of costs was agreed, Home Report provided, photographs and video taken and the property went live. Within 10 days, an offer was made and accepted. I couldn’t be happier about the service and outcome achieved.

GoogleI honestly cannot recommend sweetmove enough. Emily and Kate are second to none, their knowledge and guidance have made the process of selling my house easy and enjoyable. This was my first time selling a property so I went into it pretty clueless and worried however with Emily and Kate on the other end of the phone each worry was squished almost immediately. They found me a buyer so quickly and made sure I was up to date every step of the way. So happy my house is sold however now sad I don’t get to deal with Kate and Emily each week (sometimes daily, sorry ladies)!! 5 star service.

Diane, Carole, Bobby and Carolyn were all excellent. The personal client site was very useful and allowed me to keep tabs on events and arrangement of and feedback from viewings. GoogleSweetmove were the managing agent of two properties that we let. Their involvement was complete from serving Section 21's, working with the tenants to find new accommodation in the difficult market, marketing the properties and showing it to prospective clients. Throughout the process we were kept informed and any issues were dealt with openly and successfully. I have seen how the large agencies operate and how they work to take a commission from every action or service that are part of letting, selling or buying of property. Such behaviour was never witnessed during all our dealings with Sweetmove as landlord and seller.

GoogleThe Sweetmove team were most helpful from the first time we met Emily to look round the property that we wished to buy. Emily in particular made negotiations on purchase price straightforward and helped us in discussions with the seller about items in the house we were interested in and provided two recommendations for local tradesmen. When she wasn't available, one of her colleagues would deal with any questions. If you are looking for a professional and yet still personal service from an Estate Agent, I would happily recommend Sweetmove 👍

GoogleFrom the initial consult with Di to the busy closing date with Carole, we, as a family selling the parental home, where in the best of hands. The North Berwick team where friendly, professional, responsive, flexible and kept us fully informed at each stage. They absolutely smoothed the process and gave very good and helpful advice throughout. It was a great experience and we cant recommend Simpson Marwick enough.

GoogleAbsolutely disgusting company to deal with the most unprofessional excuse for a letting agency ...lead us to believe that all was going through had a few problems to sort out got them sorted never given a a proper answer to questions ...I was getting upset as I am moving from Lincolnshire to york to work selling my home so my partner rang sweetmove to get an answer and got a little upset with them as moving date was getting close only to be be told by the rudest manager she was no longer proceeding with the rental of the property . I rang to find out what was going on o ly to be shouted at down the phone by her not letting me speak SHE had decided that we were not suitable for the letting of the property....if I spoke to my patients at ghe hospital ghat way I wouldn't have a job same for my partner are we not allowed to have answers to our questions without being judged by someone who doesn't even know us apart from speaking on the phone. THANK YOU SWEETMOVE FOR LEAVING US HOMELESS AND IM SURE THE LANDLADY WILL MISS HER RENT BUT ALSO TWO TENNANTS WHO WHOULD HAVE LOVED THAT PROPERTY ...THE MANAGER NEEDS TO GET SOME PEOPLE SKILLS .....SWEETMOVE YOU ARE DEFINATLY NOT SWEET

GoogleSweetmove were amazing. They were really accommodating when I was viewing properties and lined a number of properties up in the area. They acted really quickly once I made an offer and went back and forth between me and the sellers to get an agreement. During the sales process, they were constantly in contact with both me, the sellers and our solicitors to move things on. I had problems with my solicitors and Sweetmove helped to work around this and complete the purchase. It easily would have taken an extra month to complete without Sweetmove’s support. Highly recommend.
