We purchased our new home and sold our existing home through Falcon. The process up to the point of having offers accepted at both ends was really positive. The communication following this however was poor. The main issue; we went on holiday and advised Falcon of this prior. Despite letting them know, they arranged a viewing for whilst we were out of the country and without successfully getting hold of us and without our permission or knowledge, they showed the person around our home. Upon arrival at the house and before going in, they were told we were out of the country, but proceeded with the viewing anyway. They never let us know that this had happened and it was only due to family who had happened to see them there letting us know that we became aware upon our return home. This felt like a real invasion of our privacy as we had not had chance to prepare the house and had no knowledge of it happening - no emails were sent which we would have been able to receive whilst abroad. When I contacted Falcon, I was told the Director would give me a call following his teams meeting and that he was keen to speak to me - I never did receive a call. There were times that we were not updated of changes to our sellers situation which were going to cause delays in our moving date and multiple occasions where documents that had already been sent or questions that had already been answered would be requested 2 or 3 times over. Overall, I wouldn’t use Falcon again and wouldn’t recommend them due to the experience with the viewing.

For me, Falcon were amazing. I genuinely do not know how I would have gotten through the whole process without them. Ive read my buyers review on here which is negative and as I’ve said to my buyers directly (we made contact later on throughout the process), I have always had a positive experience and they have been very supportive of me. I believe I’ve had a bit of rough ride of buying and selling. This is no reflection on falcon - if anything, it shows how well they have supported me throughout. Firstly, I originally began to sell my house with a less traditional estate agent (think arranging viewings through a webpage or national call centre). I’d already paid them a fee as part of their “deal” but I found when it came to it they weren’t getting the interest in my property. I was chasing another property. I was stressed and despondent. Falcon had sold a few properties in my area, so I gave them a call and met Liz. Liz was incredible. She knew my property would sell. She gave me some belief that it could actually happen. I’m sure she was born as an estate agent - she’s exceptionally good at her job. Liz assured me that she would take it from there. My house sold within the first weekend of viewings. I was over the moon. I then secured the house I had been chasing. Short chain. Brilliant - or not…To cut a long story short, after a nightmare mortgage advisor (not Falcons recommendation), I eventually got a mortgage then a survey. The survey was awful (thanks to spray foam). I had to pull out of the purchase - totally gutted and now needing to find a new property to buy. I was motivated, I spoke to Cody and we were leafleting areas (I had my own & Falcon did some too). I viewed a few more properties, made offers which were declined. I sense checked with Liz if she felt my offers were bad (they weren’t - I’ve since learnt that lots of people over inflate their prices beyond market value & I’ve watched these properties later fall in price). I had a response to one of my leaflets which was a probate sale - but the vendors took a while to agree to actually sell even though they contacted me (I’ve since learnt this can be quite normal for probate sales). I was desperate to secure this property, conscious my own sale was progressing. The vendors asked for more money. Despite being told to “haggle” by friends and family, I got advice from Liz as to what to do. She was amazing, gave me her opinion as to what she felt might happen depending on the new offer I made. In the end, I went with the “give them nothing to think about and offer them the top of what they’ve asked for” approach which worked well. Property secured, great! We were then at the stage where everyone else was ready to exchange and we weren’t. I asked Liz about my options and she said I may need to break the chain. I agreed. Lined everything up but then sadly the chain fell apart below me and I lost my buyers. Queue panic. Now worried I was going to lose my onward house which was more perfect than the first. I was advised to relist and we did. I immediately got more viewings and offers but my original buyers managed to come back. Don’t get me wrong, the decision to take it to best and final for more money was real, but throughout the process Liz and Cody had told me how much my original buyers loved my house. Liz asked me what my gut feeling was and it felt right to stick with the original buyers so I did. She agreed she felt they were the right buyers too. Falcon were very supportive even though they would have got more commission from a best and final offer. We ended up moving, without breaking the chain. Cody and the office team were amazing at chasing solicitors for me. I met Julie who was lovely with the viewings - always leaving feedback cards. They more than earned their commission from me - I recognise the value in a traditional estate agent. I am beyond grateful for everything they have done. Not that I plan on moving again as I love my new home, but I would use them again in a heartbeat and have recommended friends to use them too.

Our neighbours have let their home using Falcon and unfortunately the tenants have been a nightmare. Shouting screaming and untaxed cars and drink driving and damaging peoples property. Before calling the owners we tried Falcon. They didn’t care one bit! Seriously if you’re thinking of letting out your property to these guys Think again! They will not protect it at all.

I would strongly advise against using this company to sell your property. Our experience was deeply frustrating and upsetting. We feel we were misled and lied to throughout the process. We accepted an offer from a buyer who was a friend of one of the agents, and while we were aware of that connection, it became clear that the buyer’s interests were prioritised over ours. Over a 10-week period, we were kept in the dark about serious issues - most importantly, that the buyer was self-employed and unable to secure a mortgage. During this time, we were actively progressing with the purchase of another property, unaware that our own sale was effectively going nowhere. The lack of transparency, poor communication, and apparent bias towards the buyer ultimately caused us to lose the property we were weeks into purchasing. This entire experience caused significant stress and disappointment for both me and my partner - and not once did we receive an apology. We feel completely let down by this company. If you value honesty, clear communication, and fair treatment, we recommend looking elsewhere

Me and my partner Sophie Archer rented an apartment with this company 4 years back. The apartment we moved into was not in perfect condition to begin with.Over the years our rents were increased even without inflation in the financial system and we just obeyed it as we did not have the money to move to another house.The people working here just don't do their jobs well and there were often delays in passing on the message about things that needed fixing in the apartment to the landlady who owned the place .Again, we were in fear of being evicted so we abided by their timelines.We recently moved out of the apartment and bought our own house. We left the apartment as clean as we could leave it and also spent 100 pounds for a professional cleaner suggested by their agents to clean the house. The supervisor of the staff working there did an inspection and now wants 300 pounds of our deposit money for cleaning for a bit of wear and tear which is appalling. The agents also told us that the land lady who owns the apartment wants to renovate the place and make it new.So if the land lady wants to renovate the house then why rob us of our hard earned deposit? . Please think twice before renting from this company as you will not get the service you need from here and also you will be cheated by them at the end of the tenancy. The best thing to do is to rent directly from a house owner. This is an honest opinion and hopefully companies like this can be taken to task for cheating the citizens like us. We decided not go ahead with challenging the process as we need the money urgently and we already have spend 20 hours of our time going back and forth with Tracy(Supervisor)who works for this company on email. We have at the time of me typing this review asked for the remaining 516 pounds of 800 pound deposit back and got it back on 19th of May which is a long time.

Falcon (and Claudia in particular) have gone above and beyond for me and my partner from start to finish of our moving process. We put our property on the market just before lockdown and had a tricky buyer who then pulled out at the last hurdle, they worked tirelessly to keep the ball rolling for us, booking tradesmen to provide quotes for works, chasing solicitors, chasing the tradesmen for their quotes, and then managed to sell our property within 48 hours after it unfortunately having to go back on the market. Nothing has been too much trouble at any point, everyone in the office has been so easy to get hold of throughout and even after the sale of our house they’ve still done bits and bobs for us. We even received a congratulations card on the birth of our new baby... such a thoughtful team! Will be recommending them to anyone who is looking to sell or buy in future! Mark Blanks knows the market (in particular in the Peverell area) really well, was always on hand to answer questions & put together a brilliant advert for our house. We were also very impressed by the virtual tour that Falcon include as part of the online advert. I recently sold my flat through Falcon. Falcon were very professional from the initial market appraisal and advertising with David to the other team members managing the sale. It was a very long winded sale due to various obstacles which, while not Falcons fault, the team were very good at communicating and pro-actively chasing to progress the sale. In particular Claudia and, when she was out, Mel helped reduce the stress and pull things together. Being a remote seller they went above and beyond to provide local support when asked for. Thank you all very much and I have no hesitation in recommending Falcon; looking back it feels like we shared a rather stressful journey but the support from Falcon staff was much appreciated.

From our initial meeting with David at the house, we knew Falcon were the right fit for us to get the best possible price for our house. His knowledge of the area and the insights he shared with us gave us a platform to set a realistic asking price to allow the house sell within a reasonable timeframe. The sale of our house was in great hands. David guided us through the sale process which was not without problems. The house was sold the same day it was placed on the market. There were a few problems with a less than confident solicitor further down the chain, which delayed things. David was able to employ his vast experience to liaise with all parties to bring about a successful sale.
