Poor estate agent

Poor at ensuring both landlord and tenant are looked after. Estate agents managing rental properties have two customers, landlord AND tenant. Served a no fault eviction notice with no narrative/explanation, which I understand is legal BUT it was only issued so the landlord could increase the rent. A simple phone call and conversation would have resulted in a much different outcome for agent, landlord and tenant. Instead the property was vacated, the tenant had costs to move (but is now much happier in a better property paying less rent!), the property is still listed, having had price reductions which are now at the level the outgoing tenant offered AND the agent is out of pocket because they are currently earning ZERO fees. I’m not an estate agent, but I am a businessman, landlord and tenant and I would have done things very differently and every party would have been better off, but what do I know…hindsight is a great thing!

I rent with this agency for about 3 years. After agreeing with the landlord all details for moving out, the landlord called the agency to let them know they should release the deposit then they wanted to me call them (not sure why) which I did! This Sam guy answered and he was extremely rude! He never allowed me to talk, ask a questions or anything! So they do take your money but when it comes to release it they will behave like trolls! You should be ashamed Sam

Absolutely garbage. I was dealing with Matthew Eastment, abhorrent service from this young lad. The thinks he can speak however he wants with a client and get away with it. His manager is also in on this with him. There are no repercussions for his absolutely pathetic behavior. It is a shame but be assured I will not be using them ever again even if I was on the verge of being homeless or they found me the house of my dreams.
