GoogleOur son purchased a flat that was being marketed by Island Homes from their branch on Dock Head Road in Chatham and from the initial viewing with Molly and the subsequent re-visits with Harry to the overall conveyancing process with Shane who was our link with the seller's solicitor; the whole process was handled with an excellent degree of professionalism and efficiency; something that can't be said for our solicitor buts that another story!!! I would certainly recommend Island Homes for any sale or purchasing enquiries.

GoogleI'm a buyer and saw a property I wanted to view. The person I spoke with on the phone was very polite but there was a chain of events that I was not happy about. - I phoned in the morning asking for a viewing, they said that they'll get the colleague who deals with this area to contact me. - In the afternoon I rang back as I was waiting for the call, they said the colleague who deals with the area has seen it and will let them know I phoned again. - Then after a short while I checked Rightmove and it's showing it 'off the market'!. - I contacted them again and said what had happened and now it's off the market. They said "oh I'll find out and get them to get back to you". I still haven't had any call from them.

Sarah would go out of her way to reassure us on issues and processes. Nothing was to much trouble and thats the reassure you need when purchasing from another country. GoogleCurrently waiting 20+ weeks for them to respond to simple management enquiries to progress a sale of a home, this is now going to require a new mortgage application, at worse rates. They are also the sole blocker in the chain at this point. They ignore all requests and are generally difficult to contact.

The delay unfortunately was entirely due to the management company on the apartment we were selling and as an agent, you possibly don't realise, this is not something we have any control over. You have mistaken Island Homes for the management company I'm afraid and this review should be directed at them and we would be more than happy to provide you with their details. At Island Homes we are always contactable 24 hours a day with out of hours mobile numbers available. I'm pleased to say, we have now exchanged contracts on the two lovely apartments we sold that were in your chain and we hope you'll be very happy in your new home too.
