GoogleWilliams was not actually my estate agent, they were working with the people that sold me my house, however I cannot rate them highly enough, Emily was fantastic and kept me informed and updated every step of the way, and was really helpful when my Reading estate agents were rubbish, I would highly recommend them and in particular Emily. Thanks for all you help,

GoogleWilliams were fantastic with our sale - lots of viewings lined up straight away and kept us informed on feedback. House was sold within a few weeks. GoogleI have given 1 star because you can’t give none. Our property is on with Williams (I think). We were told you get a weekly update. This just doesn’t happen. I called the office Friday morning, was told a call back would happen shortly, it’s now Saturday evening, still waiting for the call.Our house has been taken of the internet and not even advertised in the shop window, it’s now a bank holiday weekend and our property cannot be viewed by prospective buyers until at least Tuesday the service is diabolical, how they stay in business amazes me. VERY ANNOYED.
Martin, your house was taken off the internet as we had to change the description of the property due to fundamental things that YOU failed to declare, which also lost you your buyer. We choose to remain professional and wish you good luck with your house sale.

GoogleSo nice - they handled our house purchase so well that we didn't hesitate to recommend them to family members planning to move to Petersfield. Not only were they very friendly and welcoming to the humans, they also made a big fuss of our dogs when we went into the office to register interest, which we thought was a very good sign. Kind, helpful, unpretentious. Thanks - this is how it should be done : )

GoogleWe have had a great experience with Williams. We first met Tina when viewing another property and she was great so we knew we wanted to use Williams for selling our flat. Tina and Julie make a great team and they managed to help us get an offer very fast when we saw something we wanted to buy.

TL;DR: Assume Williams of Petersfield will try to scr*w you, so prepare and act accordingly. Full story: * Initial omen: Humorless, charmless, officious woman upbraided me for having scheduled a bed delivery for the first day of my tenancy, hence requiring the keys as early in the day as possible so as not to miss said delivery. * Move-in: dirty carpet, mold on washing machine's seal, crumbs on refrigerator seal, disgustingly filthy range hood filter, caked-in dust on curtain rails... * Wouldn't wait a couple weeks for my answer if I'd extend my lease but served on me an evacuation notice, forcing me to have to scramble to find somewhere to live. * Check-out inventory: many cases of "some light clean needed." Of course. They tried to ding me for £180 for the general + carpet clean. * They stonewalled my attempts at reasoning. I raised a dispute with MyDeposits, which ultimately ruled for me on most counts. These people treat you like a number. Return the favor!

"The Williams of Petersfield team will take great delight in impressing you with the standard of their service" I'm far from impressed after they moved dealers in and the entire neighbourhood smells like weed. They apparently pride themselves on their communication but take great delight in ignoring emails desperately trying to sort this!

It's so refreshing to find an agent who puts the needs of their landlords and tenants first and, whilst remaining professional, is keen to foster a personal understanding on which to build a business relationship. GoogleI purchased my 2 bed top floor apartment in Clanfield via Williams of Petersfield in May. The property was listed via dual agents and I almost missed out on the property due to some underhand tactics from the opposing agent. Fortunately this wasn’t the case, Juliet in particular was extremely helpful in this scenario and even arranged for me to view the property on her day off; she really went above and beyond. I’ll have no hesitation using Williams for my future buying/selling needs.

GoogleA dreadful company, they sold us a residential apartment in Petersfield that turned out to have a commercial lease. We only found out after our solicitor reviewed the contract. £1200 in legal fees and 2 months of our time wasted. Williams are refusing to even apologise, presumably because that would admit their incompetence. Just be very careful dealing with them and don't trust anything you are told both verbally and in writing. They are a disgrace.

GoogleWe recently sold our house with Williams and ALL the staff were truly amazing but a special ‘shout out’ must go to Declan who even worked on his days off to help us. We were updated regularly and received courtesy calls throughout the process. They were all so professional in their conduct and so welcoming. In fact, we were treated more like family members. Needless to say, we can’t recommend them enough and we will certainly be using them again.

GoogleAlistair Hire the letting manager called me following my initial review to threaten and attempt to intimidate me into taking my review down. My review is an accurate account of my personal experience of Williams and I will not be taking it down despite Mr Hires threat of legal action. My comments were. 1. Unnecessary and unauthorised repairs . 2 no sensible rent reviews. 3 tenants said the house was cleaner when they left than when they moved in despite me paying for a professional clean via Williams and rude bullying behaviour demonstrated again by Alistair telephone call.

We have recently sold the property and the team have been brilliant in their communication, and monitoring of progress to ensure the sale went through as smoothly as possible. I would have no hesitation in recommending them either as a managing agent on the rental side or for selling your property.

GoogleWilliams gave the most positive (and as it turned out - realistic) valuation of our property, and delivered with finding us the right buyers. Their fees were also very competitive. Any hiccups along the way were down to solicitors, and so Williams (Juliet in particular) did exactly what they needed to to get us to the finish line.
