My experience buying my first home was very drawn out due to the chain on the vendors side,due to this any correspondence from the conveyancer was very sporadic,obviously because of the pandemic and people trying to take advantage of the stamp duty holiday this really put a lot strain on the industry,from my side dealing with Cubitt and West though was very positive,everyone i dealt with or spoke to we’re very polite and accommodating,Karen the sales progressor was very nice and kept me informed as best as she could during the whole procedure,I finally met this lady and had a little chat about it all on the day I received my keys,the cloud definitely had a silver lining.

We would highly recommend Cubitt and West’s Pulborough branch. From the very beginning Martin, the branch manager, and Kirsty, the sales manager, were both professional, knowledgeable, responsive and enthusiastic about selling our house. They were very proactive in marketing our property and always gave us feedback after a viewing. When our first chain collapsed they were positive and straight back on it and we had another offer within three days! When we got to the stage where exchange was imminent Martin liaised with all parties in the chain to ensure we did actually exchange which we did this week! We are so grateful to both Kirsty and Martin for all they did for us. Anyone who wants to sell a house in the local area should definitely use them!
I am very pleased to see that Martin and Kirsty were able to guide you through this difficult time, moving house is hard enough without the extra stresses added caused by chains collapsing so a proactive agent is a must in these circumstances.

I couldn't have faulted Lauren throughout my whole experience of buying my first home. I first met Lauren whilst viewing a different property and whilst I was looking around it was very apparent that wasn't the right one. Having listened to what I wanted and needed Lauren then suggested I looked at a different property which was for sale that I hadn't considered before, at first I was apprehensive to view the property as I wasn't originally looking or a flat however Lauren filled me with confidence that it may in fact be exactly what I needed and to maybe consider viewing it to keep my options open. When I viewed the property I knew that it was perfect for what I would need. I then have since purchased that property and have Lauren to thank for finding it! Lauren also was so helpful throughout the whole process and any questions I had she was right there to help and advise making the process as stress free as possible. Thanks again Lauren!

Worst experience ever. Put an offer 15k over asking, they turned bullish and twisted our arm into using their solicitor and broker. When we said okay to solicitor and no to broker, they rejected the offer! I have never dealt with an estate agent like this. Total disregard if the buyer. I know markets ballooned up right now bht it’ll go slow. Get over yourselves guys! Eventually you’ll need us. Absolutely appalled. We have even paid their solicitor fee and just because we said no to their broker! Never again. No wonder they hardly have any good houses to sell. Ppl know better

Considering moving home is one of the most stressful things to do in life, Cubitt & West made the process seem easy. We received excellent help, advice, care and attention starting with the valuation appointments with Rocco who was informative and professional. The service continued with wonderful Wahida who found numerous interested buyers, and with courteous Caitlin who accompanied the prospective buyers around the house. Both Wahida and Caitlin followed up with phone calls to inform us of offers and progress on our sale. We could not have asked for better service. In addition, the photos and video of the house were spectacular and definitely helped attract prospective buyers. We cannot recommend them highly enough; they were superb.

TrustpilotTried to sell a house with Cubit and west
I brought in Cubit and west to sell our house in August 2020, we managed to get it live on the market in September, Cubit and west gave us advise on how to achieve a quick sale, we therefore did everything they asked us to do (which included taking a significant financial impact to do the sale chain free) and finally sold in December. The sale stalled in april with no movement, I gave notice to the post sale co-ordinator AND the manager of the branch that if no progress can be made then we had to put it back on the market as we cannot wait any longer. the notice was made over the phone and I was clear I would use a different agent. NEITHER the manager or the post sales adviser it had to be in writing. We have therefore withdrawn from the sale and even though notice was received Cubit and west has advised they are holding us to 14 days notice from the time I put it in writing. Thus preventing us from selling and delaying us again!! I feel they have tried to manipulate us to remain with them and been dishonest in not accepting the notice which was provided and referenced several times in emails. I would never use them again, selling your house is stressful enough without having the firm you employed to do the job attempting to bully you in the process.Update! They have called today and released us from contract :-) very happy with this outcome. Thank you

He was polite and helpful.The person (apologies for forgetting their name) who was present at the viewing was also very polite and helpful, thank you very much for all your support and help.

Who ever gave this estate agent a review of more than 1 star must be employed by them. Possibly the worst agents i've ever had the displeasure off working with. I mage the mistake of listing my flat in caterham with them at the price they had valued it at. In 4 months they have managed to show the flat only once. this is a new build 2 bed bath separate kitchen top floor flat. I know the market is slow but they has been no effort from them to call me to explain the low viewings or a new marketing approach. when I asked their "senior" marketing manager about the low viewing, there was no explanation instead she promised she;d ask "the girls in the office to take an hour out their day" on two separate days to help get viewings!!! I was surprised that this was not the norm but rather a special favour!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS go with purplebricks or anyone else but these agent. MOST UNPROFESSIONAL
