We were assisted by Julie Bramble who was our link between our solicitors and buyers. No question was too much trouble and she always got back to us when she said she would. She made the whole experience which took over six months easier to handle, even if it was just to give reassurance that things were moving along. The whole team were very helpful.

It is tough being new to the UK and also searching for a house, but trust me, Paige and Marcus from Cubitt and West made it so easy for my family to find a house and to settle in at ease. They kept me always updated on every step of the process and was patient and friendly throughout the process. The entire process to get a house was clearly explained to me and they had done a wonderful job following up on every aspect. Terrible agency. Very unprofessional and unreliable. I made an appointment to view a property last Saturday. This was confirmed by text and email. However when I called the office when I was 10 mins away, they kept me on hold for 5 mins before telling me there was no appointment and no one could show me the property. If they can’t even get that right why would you trust them to buy or sell your property?

TrustpilotShocking management and horrendous tenants
Shocking management of our house that was left in pristine order for the tennants that were supposedly vetted from April 2022 to January 2024. stipulations in our lease were ignored ranging from unauthorsed painting to sneaking in animals and carpets burnt with an iron. Broken pedistals, damaged floors,holes in roof and filthy state left in with mould along with an unkept garden and a damaged climbing frame, broken suitcases left in our shed. Every time i complained or brought things to their attention C&W would just reply with how they couldnt really do much to ensure the tenants upheld the agreements in the lease. They take days to reply to emails and requests to get things fixed and promise so much that they just dont deliver. Considering we have bought and sold through them since 2008 id expect some form of loyalty from them and measures taken to right the situation! They show zero regard for the personal attachment we had to our family home and we entrusted it to them based on the sales pitch they gave. Wont be letting with them again thats for sure.

I've been very impressed with the team at Cubitt and West. Finding a property has been quite fraught with everything moving so fast but Maddison, Emily and Amelia in the Southsea office have been really understanding, helpful, friendly and supportive. Now the sale is going through Julie works as a point of contact between buyer/vendor and conveyancing which is so helpful - she's been great at making things run smoothly.

Buyers beware . 19 Cardinals Drive Nytimber pagham. Property has serious defects to the roof and extension. Cubitt and West openly admitted to putting back on the market and hoped that buyers would not want a survey .
We are sorry that your survey highlighted some issues. The seller commissioned a roof report and the work required was found to be minor therefore they would not agree to the reduction you requested and you felt unable to continue with the purchase. An update to our Essential Property Information Form ensures that potential buyers are aware that a survey has flagged some concerns and that they will need to obtain their own survey.Cubitt & West
