I have not yet completed but my experience so far has been plain sailing. All the team have been really helpful especially Olivia who carried out the valuation who was very sensitive to my personal situation . I also needed help with some paperwork and Olivia took the time to come and sit with me. Would definitely recommend their services.

Do not use them! If I would know more about them I would never used them. They are unprofessional, to get an update about process is almost impossible, because they rarely answers or calls you back! On my completion day I told them twice because off chain it will take little bit longer till property will be empty and I will let them know as soon as property will be empty! But they managed to give a second pair of keys to property buyers and they entered a property and then complained to solicitors and estate agent that it’s still a cat and stuff inside the property ! At the time I was unloading my stuff in another property! And these people was alone in property with my stuff! Then after few hours I called them 5 times to let them know that property is empty but no one answered the phone!next morning I got a call from them that I needed to move a day before because it’s already day after completion but property was already empty from previous day!

Swaffham - Aston 10/10

Aston at the Swaffham branch was fantastic. He made us feel really comfortable and answered all the questions we had. As first time buyers it can be all very overwhelming at times however Aston made the process very simple. 10/10. Also Tony and Emily at the Swaffham branch are great. All very friendly and they are there for you across your house buying journey.

After they acted dishonestly, they said they won't give me my money back, I'll pay a lawyer you guys will give me my money back . Stay away from them, they said I said I had a permanent employment contract, I never said that. Who in this world would lie about something like that, they are dishonest, racist, rude. I'll go as far as I can but they won't take my money.

I found a rental property online and…

I found a rental property online and asked for a viewing. The property was located over 100 miles from my residence and as a consequence of this the employee said that they had a recent video of the property, she sent it to me and it looked amazing so I put in an offer. Contracts were exchanged and then on the day of moving the agency contacted me to inform me that the cooker had been condemned and had to be removed from the property and that the landlord was now refusing to buy a cooker and that they were not required to provide one. As you can appreciate at this stage I was very upset, however the agents said they would get back to the landlord to see if she would change her mind. The contracts had already been exchanged and the landlord was refusing to honour her side of the agreement on the moving day when the arrangements had been made and I had moved out of my current home. I would not use this company at all they have no common decency and to add salt to the wound I have to take them to court to get my money back for the E first months rent and deposit because they think that I should be held to the fixed term contract and be liable for paying the rent nevertheless! Do not trust this company!!!

I had a pleasure of working with Naomi from the Peterborough office while looking for a new house to rent. She has been great and extremely helpful throughout the whole process. The viewing stage was sorted very quickly and carried out well, she was also very helpful in the later stages of the process by helping me with all queries I had which were all answered quickly and in detail. She also kept me in the loop whenever there were any updates. Overall I had a very good and positive experience working with Naomi and William H Brown.

Do not use this estate agent

Do not use this estate agent. They did not act in our interest and quite openly attempted to bully us into selling our property at well under the market value. We had a ridiculous offer, which they just expected us to take. Zero effort made to push the property after the offer.

If I could score higher, I would! Richie and Charlie are excellent estate agents. Richie was very personable and kept our information on file, so once a property came up to view that met our needs, he contacted us immediately. They were both extremely professional, friendly, and quick to respond to any queries we had. The best experience with estate agents we’ve ever had, hands down! Couldn’t recommend this team enough.

I have just purchased a property and been so disappointed with the service from WHB. It took six months to complete, despite being chain-free and at no point did I feel there was any sense of urgency or desire to speed things up / help the process move along. I sent multiple emails along the way, feeling like I was desperately trying to move things forward. There was over a month’s extra delay due to a heating check I stipulated I wanted to be carried out when making my offer, and despite mentioning it many times over the six months, WHB only arranged this with the seller as we were ready to exchange, causing a further month delay. The property didn’t complete on completion date due to paperwork missing from the seller, and when it did complete, I was handed keys with not even a ‘congratulations’ or ‘hope you’ve been happy with everything’ etc. I left the office genuinely shocked that it’s seen as nothing to them. Kirsty was away when it finally completed and I’ve heard nothing over a week later, and just had to chase for information the sellers left for me which hasn’t been forwarded on. This is the smallest, only chain-free property I have purchased and it was the most lengthy and stressful process of them all.

In this company the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. I am investor and this is a second time this happened to me with them. Tried to arrange the viewing immediately the property came/returned to the market(Beginning of the week). I was completely flexible with dates and time. One of the "great agents"(lady) promised me to come back with the date once they check. But of course she didn't. I had to call day after to arrange the viewing. The earliest which they could do Friday(confirmed). On Thursday lady called me to a to arrange the viewing, of course she hadn't clue that I have a viewing next(which supposed to be in their system, if they have one) day. Bottom line they have cancel the viewing hour before my visit when I was already driving to the customer. I called to their office wanted to talk to their manager to explain this is not how it suppose to work. The manager said she will call me in a minute. Well this was an hour ago and the way they operate I don't think I even will get a call. Honestly just stay away from them. Absolutely useless, I don't even undestand why people choosing this company to represent their property..

We were very lucky to have Rebecca look after us. Not only did Rebecca ensure that we had all the details we needed, answered all (and there were a lot!) of our questions she always did this professionally and with a genuine warmth. We cannot thank her enough for all the support she has given us in what has been a stressful time. We have no hesitation in recommending not only Rebecca but also William H Brown.

I do not have words for this level of unprofessionalism and incomptence

Just poor on every level. Communciation has been abysmal from the start. I feel I have been lied to on several occasions and it is clear most members of staff don't give a damn. Avoid I have the great displeasure having to deal with these people over the last fortnight regarding a property I want to rent. There have been issues right off the bat, including an agent called George not turning up to a viewing because he forgot and it taking four days and six phonecalls for me to be told that no-one in the office I was calling was going to call me back and I needed to call elsewhere. No apologies offered at all. It got worse when I put in an offer on a property though. When I put in my offer I was asked some questions and these identified I would need someone to guarantee my lease. That's fine, I'd anticipated that and my parents were willing to do this for me. I dealt with an agent called Sam who called them before putting in my offer to ensure they would meet the criteria for a guarantor. At this point, or at any point during the process, Sam never gave any indication that they did not. This only came to light approximately a week before I was due to move in (my parents are semi retired and generate a portion of their income through investment property and the stock market. This was apparently unacceptable for a guarantor. Which would have been fine, if Sam had told them that from the start). We found a solution, where my parents would pay my first six months rent and I'd then rent from the landlord. I had to chase (approximately four phone calls) to get this answer from him and even then, I had send him back to renegotiate as he had not done this properly (he attempted to agree a six month lease when both me and the landlady wanted something longer). When putting in my offer, I had agreed to go into a zero deposit scheme and paid £250 in order to do this. The issue with the gaurantee also took my out of this scheme, although this was never communicated to me at all. If I had known, then I would have reconsidered my position. Because Sam did not mention the problem when it arose, I was not afforded this opportunity. The only warning I had that extra money was needed, came to light when the invoice arrived and they had stuck an additional £1200 onto the fees. The only possible inkling we had about this was a phone call from Sam about 20 minutes before the invoice was sent, which lasted for all of 30 seconds and briefly mentioned a deposit. Something that I thought had already been paid and had no reason to suspect otherwise. I want to be clear here, the fact I failed the checks is not the problem (I'm a recent university graduate moving from part time to full time work and separating from my partner. I'm not naive to the fact I do not look good on paper). The lack of communication and the lack of care from Sam and his director, Rachel is. They prevented me from making a decision with the full facts. I have been left feeling utterly lied to and like I have no choice but to find an additional insane amount of money or leave me and my children homeless. Salt was further rubbed into the wound as when I called Rachel to discuss this, she sadly decided to double down on the lie that Sam had discussed this deposit with me and implied I was making it up. I have emails to confirm this deposit was never mentioned. No apologies were forthcoming, just a shoulder shrug and an offer to refund my holding deposit as well as a sly comment that it's a landlord's market right now, which is just further confirmation of how little they value potential tenants. No property is worth having to deal with these people.

Thoroughly disappointed with the service by William H Brown and in particular, Sammy. I put an offer for a property and the offer was accepted. The property has been sold to someone else, which is fine. However I was not informed of this at any time and when I mentioned this to Sammy that William H Brown could have at least let me know, he responded by saying 'with all due respect, our responsibility is with the seller and we don't have to let the buyer know'. I think Sammy needs to learn a bit of common courtesy. If this is the attitude of your assistant manager, I don't know what the situation would be across the team.
