Our initial interaction with this…

Our initial interaction with this estate agent was very positive, but unfortunately our experience deteriorated significantly after signing the contract. People were brought to view our house without us being informed, and we were expected to conduct the viewings ourselves. This arrangement was not explained or disclosed when we signed the contract. Our agent was also repeatedly uncontactable. We raised concerns several times about his lack of feedback, interest and communication, but received no acknowledgement or meaningful response. Overall, the service was extremely disappointing and felt like a complete waste of time. Based on our experience, we would not recommend this estate agent.

Express Estate Agency were excellent throughout the entire process and worked diligently to secure a buyer for our property. Everyone we dealt with was polite, highly professional, respectful and, above all, approachable. Elliott, in particular, has been fantastic. Expr3ss nowledgeable and professional

Samantha was pleasant to deal with and very professional. She answered all our questions knowledgeably, with good oversight and understanding of problems we've had with our existing agent. We have two weeks left on our existing contract, at which time we will be looking for a new agent. We intend to do some improvement/refurbish work and once completed, we intend to get back in touch with Express Offers to put the property back on the market, around the end of October.

Viewed a property with completely unrealistic price guide was priced for a certain amount, but they vendor actually wanted 50k more than it was listed, after our offer was put through and was advised price was dropped to get people through the door. Agent is not even local to the area. Wasted our time of even viewing the property.

Don’t believe the hype - overpromise and under deliver

The listing showed very few photos - had to ask for more of what was taken to be included and had to ask 3 times Had to ask twice for for sale sign Didn’t even tell us re first offer - found out by WhatsApp from potential buyer Final buyer spent two days trying to get hold of express Had to ask every day last week for copy of memorandum of sale and still never received it Asked 3 times for property to be marked as sold and viewing requests to stop - makes me look like I’m not responding when I get a text every day chasing me re viewing requests but express - who control the system know it’s sold but take 5 days and multiple requests to update the system Our contact Elliot never gets back to us when he says he will and never does what he says he will until I copy in Leva who sold the service to us in the first place Not worth the money we are paying - over promised and under delivered

Terrible customer service

We were initially happy with the service provided in preparation for our house going on the market. However, for personal reasons we had to withdraw our house from the market back in July. We asked for all emails to be stopped and they promised to do so. Since then we are receiving monthly emails with details of a property we had viewed but also, more concerning we keep getting emails advising us on our own property - even though it has been withdrawn for sale. they said they would change their records and yet they still haven't done so and we continue to get emails We are concerned therefore about what information is being shared about our own property which is incorrect. Tried calling them but just get cut off. Tried calling the member of staff direct but get cut off. The communication since the issue has been diabolical - although they were very quick to tell us of our legal obligations to them should we sell the house within a set period of time. Getting hold of them is nigh on impossible and i would advise anyone to be wary of using this company because of the reliance on telephone and email communications - which they fail miserably on

Avoid! Thieves!

Worst estate agency I have ever worked with. They tell you they can sell your home. I understand how they do it now because they keep dropping the price of your house without your consent so you get lower offers just so they can make some money. They stole money from me! I was told I had to send £150 for solicitor documents which they took and then they removed my house off the market without speaking to me. They are thieves, you need to avoid them at any cost. Do not list your home with them because they will do whatever they want with it. Your say does not matter. They will continuously hound you and bombard you with calls to get what they want and when you don’t answer they’ll just change it to what they want anyway. Even told them I did not want my house taken off the market as I thought it was done by mistake but they don’t respond. They are thieves, liars and only look out for themselves. As you can see below they say they have attempted contact but no one has even tried. They don’t even provide a simple email address for me to send an email to trying to fix the issues. They can’t find any details as they say on every negative review to avoid blame. They’re full of lies.

Extremely disappointed with Express…

Extremely disappointed with Express Agency and would not recommend based on our experience so far. We feel completely misled by what we were told when we signed up compared with what we are being told now that the sale is being handled by someone else. We were given confidence that our property was realistically worth what we were aiming for, only to later be told that this may not be achievable and that the lack of interest means we should be happy with a much lower offer. What makes this even more frustrating is that the current buyers had already approached us through another estate agent before we instructed Express Agency, so we are struggling to understand what value we have actually received for the money we are paying. We are now left feeling that we were given unrealistic expectations simply to secure our business, and we are seriously considering pulling out. A very disappointing experience from start to finish.
