Well , Smarts did us proud with their team - Lisa impressed us at the begining with her positive attitude , ( even though it’s an awful time at present ) she was full of confidence - Sarah was on board if it needed renting, & Emily did an agreement for us and Jo took over once a sale agreed - it took just under 8 weeks to complete - can you believe it - we were kept in the loop at all times and helped with filling out and scanning forms - we always received a friendly warm welcome - thank you so much - it was an easy sale , your team is great , sorry if I forgot to mention any body in process xx fully recommend xxx

GoogleAbsolute pleasure to deal with. From a contractors point of view they're easy to contact, response times are brilliant and you never feel like a nuisance or burden when you have any questions or issues that may arise. I look after a number of sites for smart and in particular I've dealt with Dean woods whose a pleasure to work with. Myself being a small local business forming good, personal relationships with staff is vital and these guys are second to none. 👍

I was incredibly impressed with the whole process of renting a property through Smart Property. The initial enquiry, right through to viewing, applying and moving in felt seamless. The communication, handy online platform and the process for all the forms felt, dare I say, relaxing, which really made the prospect of a big house move less daunting. Particular thanks to the incredible Nettie. Being our contact for the whole process was such a blessing. She was warm, professional, and so helpful, and it made all the difference having her on the day of the move to hand over keys and share her best wishes. I don't think I have ever worked with an estate agent who felt like they really cared. Thank you so much, Nettie!!

I can see why landlords leave great reviews this company just squeezes every penny out of their tenants. Your rent will go up every year and you will get inspections every 6 months you will show the inspector all your issues and she will go away for another 6 months and nothing will be done. I’ve lived in this property for about 10 years and still have the same flooring as the previous tenants before me still with this burn stains and tears was told it would be replaced before moving in 10 years now and it’s still there, i’ve called a few times but nothin ever materialises. I reported 2 gas hobbs not working to be fair the gas man was around quickly but he just advised me to buy needles and syringes to clean the one and said he would have to see if he comes across new knobs for them in future jobs! 2 months on still waiting with only 2 working hobs 10 years the property has never been painted or only by myself. Received new kitchen cabinets which were smaller and left brick work showing and the installer said he wasn’t aloud to re tile or add tiles to cover the exposed brick work The damp is so bad he just had a cow boy builder to clad over it which all started falling off within 2 months it smells so bad. there’s so much more and sadly i’m unable to upload pictures to show you what £750 a month gets you. Vile.

GoogleLived in one of the properties managed by the agency. Recently moved out of the property and a delivery was made in error to the letterbox of the apartment. I have sent over 4 emails to Sammy with regards to my situation but I have been completely ignored. This is not a good way to treat a client in any form. Called through and surprisingly my package is no where to be found. For a package that was delivered into the letterbox and the keys were dropped with the agency when we moved and no one has moved into the property yet. Worst experience ever.

I bought a property through Smart. They were quite good at chasing Solicitors but I felt like I was just another transaction. Property was sold as 'high standard' but had a lot of flaws and some of the more major ones were not declared at the beginning of the process. They also didn't want to communicate after the purchase was complete, even though the sellers hadn't removed everything and left the house in a fairly poor condition.

GooglePoppy continues to go above and beyond for us. She originally showed us around our rented property and has been incredibly helpful and supportive ever since. She is never too busy, never too stressed, and is always happy to help. When we had a leak in the property that caused some damage, the situation was handled so professionally and efficiently that it gave us complete confidence we would be fully supported if any further issues arose. We absolutely adore Poppy and think she’s brilliant at her job. Thanks, Poppy!

Our tenants ruined our little flat, the agents were next to useless in protecting us. They merely act as a conduit, with a rather poor level of service. Their inventories were wrong, despite us correcting them on multiple occasions and so we got a very poor settlement from the ombudsman (a few £100 when the cost of redecoration and repair will run to several £1000). Would not recommend

GoogleThe service provided by Smart Estate Agent is second to none. I had the pleasure of dealing with them in relation to a rental property. From start to finish the process was absolutely effortless. I have dealt with lots of Estate Agents over the years and I can honestly say that Smart Estate Agent has excellent customer service and it is clear that they pride themselves on their professional but friendly communication. Every time I called the phone was answered promptly and professionally and any queries were dealt with there and then. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to rent a property. I would particularly like to thank Kate Ellery, Poppy-Mae and Adam Cowey who made the who process so smooth. Thank you.

From the moment I moved into the property (Initially with Heather and Lay which then transferred to Smart Estate Agents), Sammy took great care of my account throughout, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience - What a legend! One of the things that stood out to me about Smart Estate Agent is their exceptional customer service. Kate, in particular, played a crucial role in helping me throughout the transferring company process. She was always available to answer my questions and address any concerns I had. Her knowledge and professionalism were evident, and she consistently went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. I was also fortunate to have Adam assist me during my time with Smart Estate Agent. It was a great relief to know that I had a reliable and dedicated team looking after the property I rented. When the time came to return the keys, I visited their office, and I was impressed to find Sammy, Kate, and Adam all present. This level of teamwork and coordination demonstrated their commitment to providing excellent service - wish I could have stuck around to chat to them more but I was in a rush for an appointment. Basically they didn’t give up on us and went above and beyond when necessary, as a result we have finally completed on our sale. Special thanks to Lucy who was always friendly and professional. GoogleAlways helpful and great to deal with, Kay Patmore especially went above and beyond the other day when I needed to pick up my keys. I was driving in from Wales and had many delays that made me miss my key pick up appointment at the house. Kay was kind enough to stay after closing time for the agency at the offices to allow me enough to time to pick up my keys as it was my only chance to do so due to personal matters. I'm so grateful and greatly appreciate all the help I received that day and all help that myself and roommates have been given as we've moved into our new rental managed by them. Thank you again to Kay and all the staff at Smart!
