I rented my house out through Ferris and Co for 3 years and then finally sold it through them. I have been so pleased with the care and attention they have given to all aspects of my business with them. I always received great advice from the Lettings team (Justine in particular) whenever I needed it. Later, the transfer between Lettings and Sales was seamless. The sale had a few unforeseen pitfalls along the way and the staff at Ferris kept me in the loop throughout (Theresa in particular) and worked hard to get things back on track in record time. I have been working with Ferris & Co for over 20 years, which is crazy! They have been renting my flat out in Maidstone for all this time, looking after me, the tenants and the upkeep of the flat. I have personally found them to be an amazing landlord. They have a blanced and fair outlook with the clients and how the tenancy should work, while keeping me right at all times. I could only recommend them to anyone who is seeking a letting agent or estate agency in the Maidstone area.

I booked Ferris and Co 5 days before my appointment. I got an early finish at work to be on time for my 4pm appointment on Monday. Got home and just got the place ready the person to come and value my property. At 3.25pm I got a call from a person from Ferris and Co saying they are not coming out as flats aren't selling at the moment in my block/ in general and they don't think i can get the value i would like to try and get. This just surprised me as they had 5 days to tell me this information but decided to tell me 35 minutes before the scheduled appointment. I rushed home for this for no reason at all and the fact they let the day go by and told me that information and cancelled 35 mins before the scheduled appointment is appalling This is my first time selling a property and just was not expecting this with Ferris and Co. Would not recommend and will not be using them for another property!

This branch made every step of my purchase process so effortless, there was always someone available to talk to, when I had to go back to renegotiate price due to high interest rates making it difficult to get a mortgage product that works for BTL, they were very understanding and helped to communicate it to the vendor so it’s a win win for me as a buyer and the vendor. Letting a property has been easy through the Bearsted office with much help from both Frances and Justine in all matters practical from advice on fair rents to condensation and mould. Jonathan has always known somebody to help us with repairs, even on our own home, Jayne always keeps a firm hold on the accounts for us. The recent sale of a property ran extremely smoothly with expert advice from Tim and frequent progress updates from Karen and Theresa, who was quite happy to chase up the purchasers’ solicitors when necessary. After well over twenty years using Ferris and Co I cannot imagine a more helpful team both regarding renting and sales. As tenants seem to stay for years, it would seem that their experiences are good too.

Absolute trash Estate Agents! Tom Lennard confirmed my viewing today to see a 2 bed maisonette. He was made aware that I'll be driving down from London to Maidstone for the viewing, upon arrival outside the property I was told by Tom that I couldn't view the Maisonette as the tenants still live there! What kind of person confirms a viewing without checking that the property is actually vacant! To add further insult to the injury I was told by the Manager Julie "we dont have your contact number" therefore couldn't notify you! (Which is also bs as they have all client contact details prior to all bookings/viewing) Julie the manager has no customer service skills. I still await a call from TIM FERRIS! If no stars was an option I would have selected that! AVOID! Also my partner and I was NOT aggressive as you have weakly stated, but naturally upset and frustrated at your plazay attitude towards the situation, and infact you should try taking responsibility for your lack of professionalism instead of trying to shift focus- your staff are quite clearly incompetent at making viewing arrangements as you failed to check if the property was vacant to be viewed beforehand. Secondly, you offered £10 which in any event does NOT cover petrol expenses/commute or time from NORTH LONDON. And finally your company is unfit for purpose, so it's safe to say I'd never use you again.

AVOID! AVOID! Not honest, misleading adverts, as a matter of fact they lie to you even on paperwork by giving false information. Going through the process of purchasing, we found out that the Maintenance Charge of the property was up to 5 times more expensive than advertised. That is a very important piece of information which could have had an irriversable financial effect on us, and, they choose deliberately to hide it to the client. I would advise to think twice before using them.
