GoogleUnfortunately I didn’t have a good experience with sea breeze. I rented a property through them, and when I had a week left of my tenancy I was told by my landlord at the time that the next tenants were moving in the next day. I had a day to get everything out of the house and try and organise things, while working full time. I rang Seabreeze and asked how this had happened and was told it was nothing to do with them and the landlord had told them I was moving out the week before… even though they had a copy of my agreement? I tried to explain the house was not ready and my things were still there and I was told they would not put the new tenants back a week as they had signed, even though I was the tenant at the time as well?? The new tenant then walked in on me trying to organise the house and seabreeze rang the landlord as if I was doing something wrong. I had paid and was legally the tenant. No apologies were made from them and they took no responsibility at all. It was very stressful. I will not be using or recommending to anyone in the future.
Hi Alice, It is a shame to read the move out of the property was stressful, we'd never want that to be the case for anyone! To clarify, your landlords instruct us to find tenants for their property on a 'let only' basis. This means we market the property, carry out viewings and references and move the tenant in - everything else from that point is directly between you and your landlord. This was the same instruction we received for the new tenancy, after yours. We were informed by your landlord that you would be vacating on the 18th August 2021 (we also have an email from you saying your contract ended on the 20th August but must take your landlords instruction on this as we'd assume you would have discussed the final date with your landlord) and to allow time between tenancies, we signed a new tenant up to move in on the 25th August. From our perspective, we did as the landlord, our client, asked us to and took the initiative to leave a gap in between the dates to allow for any items to be removed, repairs to be done or cleaning which is standard between tenancies. Unfortunately, your landlords only checked the property on the 24th August so didn't leave much time prior to the new tenants moving in but they said you had moved out but there were a few bin bags left behind and cleaning to do, which they advised us you'd be happy to sort asap prior to the new tenant collecting keys the following day. If we managed the tenancy, we could have communicated directly with you at the end of your tenancy regarding your move out date and organised a check out inspection etc, but as your landlords instruct us on a let only basis we have to take their instruction and that was that the property would be vacant from 18th August 2021. We can't take responsibility for any miscommunication about move out dates between you and your landlord as we were not party to those conversations. If you ever need our assistance in finding a property or renting a property in the future, we'd be more than happy to help and hope next time things run more smoothly for you. GoogleAbsolutely fantastic service from the team and specifically Chrysti and Roz who have been so supportive and helpful from the minute we viewed the property, to getting us set up and settled in, and anything we’ve needed since (big or small). Cannot recommend them enough. The property is wonderful, and the whole process was stress free due to them being so proactive, not to mention how quick they are to get things done. Wouldn’t want to use another agent now!

GoogleA lovely and friendly estate agent, who were very helpful and calm when dealing with all manner of difficult situations. They shielded us from the unnecessary pressures given by our purchasers, making the process of selling our house much better than it could have been given the circumstances. Always keeping us up to date with the day to day happenings which we thoroughly appreciated. It's been nice to deal with a small but knowledgeable company, who gave a more personal service rather than use one of the bigger companies who don't get to know you or your house. Would use again without question.

GoogleSeabreeze Homes was the second estate agent I used when trying to sell my flat and the comparisons were incredible. Having originally lost faith with the process after my first experience, I decided to take a step back from the national chain owned estate agents and took a punt to use Seabreeze Homes. Everything about them was leagues better, professionalism, conduct, rate and quality of feedback, attitude, presentation and most importantly for me availability. Everything about Seabreeze Homes is definitely first class. If I ever needed to contact someone albeit by telephone or email there was always a quick and friendly response. In all, they did much more than is required of an estate agent and I will definitely without doubt use them in future. In conclusion, their fees of 1% do not justify the amount of work they put in... I definitely feel like I was undercharged because they restored my faith in the industry and the sale process felt personal rather than just another number on the balance sheet. I recommend that these estate agents be your first port of call, I only wished they would have been mine!!!!
