GoogleCurrently renting through Seabreeze homes. The property was meant to be available on 1st of November only ended up moving in 20th. They were saying renovations were taking place. When we moved in the heating and the hot water was not working properly. We complained etc and asked to pay less rent for this first week as a lot of stuff shouldn’t have been happening and they said it’s not their problem. It’s been almost 2 weeks and so called plumber hasn’t come in to fix the heating so we’re sitting here in the cold because the agency isn’t doing their job. Agent came once to see if he can check what’s going on but couldn’t do anything. There are also holes in the ceiling and we complained about that and they said the only inconvenience we had was the extractor not working. The garden was meant to be tidied up but literally nothing was done to it and the shed is left in a huge mess with half of the stuff that we definitely do not need. The washing machine was left in a disgusting state and I’ve been told all white goods were there but when we moved in there was no fridge. They are just taking money but aren’t sorting things out
EDIT: They’re are literally lying in their reply which is even more horrible. Cannot wait for this tenancy end already. As an agency they were supposed to be upfront but they lied about almost everything! The plumber regarding the radiators came yesterday which is a complete joke. They claim he came few days later. Don’t be a liar now! They also claim that nothing was wrong even tho the plumber said the heating and the radiators are ‘a hit and Miss’ and they are making us pay for him coming out to us like what on earth is that. How unprofessional can they be when they even admitted when so called Nigel the director came and couldn’t figure out what was wrong with the radiators so he called in the plumber and now the cheek to send us the bill for it. Be very vary whilst dealing with them.

Thank you for your review, we have just replied to the other tenant at the property. When you viewed the property, there was no bathroom as one was being installed. We cannot put anyone into a property where there is no bathroom. The heating and the shower were not working because you tried to get it to work and the shower you did not turn on. The shed has items in it which again we advised would be removed as there was a new bathroom going in. The director of the company visited and the heating was working, a plumber came a few days later and the heating is working so im not sure why you are sitting in the cold. The extractor not working was caused by a fuse that had blown which again is not the fault of the company. As explained many times the advertisement did not say it includes a fridge and when you viewed there was no fridge. The day after moving in you have been asking to pay less rent and to have a fridge purchased for yourselves. Again we are very sorry that you are not happy but we cannot buy you a fridge or reduce the rent for you.

GoogleWe have sold two houses with Sea Breeze. I can't recommend them enough. For the most recent sale we got valuations from several agents in the area and we felt Brad from Sea Breeze was the only one who completely understood our situation and our property. It was marketed well, they only booked in decent viewings (with a toddler we didn't want to keep having to tidy the house unnecessarily!) and sold within a week for just below asking price.
I'd particularly recommend if you have renovated a property as we had done - other agents just seemed to make valuations based on zoopla estimates as opposed to Brad knowing the area and understanding the value of the specific property. Thanks guys!

GoogleCurrently renting at the moment with this agency. The move in date was supposed to be from the 1st November. They delayed our move in date until Monday 20th even after we tried numerous times to get the keys for the weekend (that didn’t happen) so of course, we expected everything to be done.
We moved into the property and already noticed a lot of problems such as holes in the ceilings, the washing machine compartment being very disgusting, the shower/ hot water and heat not working, the garden not being done as promised with the shed in an absolute state, the extractor not working, the radiators downstairs only heating up half way
Our agent came to the property to see if they can do anything, they managed to turn the heat on but the radiators still doesn’t work properly as well as that, the valves are missing
After complaining numerous times we basically got told that our only inconvenience was the extractor not working and they are not to blame
The bathtub also has marks and the sink was left dirty
I do wonder if they would want a property left in that state and if they would be okay to pay full rent
I was shocked after reading such good reviews to only be left in a horrible state
As we speak, we are still awaiting a plumber and contractor for the radiators and holes in the ceiling and it is now the end of the second week

Thank you for your review, I do apologize that you are not happy.
When we showed you the property, you were advised that a new bathroom was going to be installed and that you could not move in straight away. We also advised that the shed would be cleared as soon as possible as works were ongoing. The washing machine compartment should have been cleaned, as a professional clean was carried out on the property, We have reviewed the videos and the property was cleaned professionally.
The other issues were not our fault. The shower was not working because it had not been turned on, the cables hanging out of the walls were aerial cables for the television and the heating was not working property because the heating controls had been played with. We have since had a heating contractor go back out and they have said there were no issues. We also were unaware of the extractor fan, as this was caused by a fuse that was blown. The holes in the ceiling are pipes that run to and from the boiler which we are rectifying.
Again we are very sorry that you are not happy, not turning the shower on, playing with the heating and not wanting to wait for a bathroom to be installed is not the fault of Seabreeze Homes.
