GoogleI’ve used Blackwood and Smith for many years as our family solicitors, and Sally Swinney in particular. I would and do highly recommend her and her colleagues for straightforward and honest advice, action and guidance. Her ability to maintain focus even when advising on emotive family events has been hugely appreciated and beneficial to me.

GoogleAvoid avoid avoid. My family has used this firm for years, as in generations, but personally I wouldn't give them address book space. Lacs in responding to emails and phone calls to say the least. I would definitely recommend going elsewhere. There must be other lawyers in Peebles....or in any other Borders town.
