Fox and sons are shocking

Fox and sons are shocking. You do get bamboozled into a long contract, and i agree they are very rude and the pictures are rubbish. I took my house of the market with them while still in contract. It was sour grapes beacause we had s viewing and once i removed our house got rudely told there is no way the lady would have brought ur house. Crewkerne branch very rude. Was even told would i pay 45,000 pounds more for a 3 bed semi than ours which is a 4 bed detached with a garage. Absolutly shocking wouldnt recommend them at all. They just want u to keep lowering the price.

Never touch these people with a barge…

Never touch these people with a barge pole! I’ve never in my life had such a bad experience with an estate agent and that’s saying something! Major pressure tactics to get you to spend more, refusal to return deposit, which thankfully they are so dodgy that tgey do not have a bank account and you need to pay by card! Always remember you can do a charge bsck bua your bank and you get your money back! The excuses I heard to hold onto your money! I think this may be hiw these guys get paid! Anyway rubbish service, rubbish people and steer well clear of these cowboys! Sequence homes are part of this group so steer clear of them as well.

Unprofessional Demeanor

The Crawley team, particularly Branch Manager Kane Caulfield, displayed unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful behavior.They wasted our time by not responding promptly to our inquiries, forcing us to follow up continuously for weeks, both regarding our initial offer and when the property came back on the market.When we decided not to proceed with the offer, Kane Caulfield began speaking to us in a rude and unprofessional manner.We kindly request that take appropriate action regarding the Branch Manager's behavior.

Not received my deposit back

Little to no communication, gave more than 3 months notice to be told they would be in touch and heard nothing more. My son vacated the property and a month later has not received my deposit or heard anything. They are not answering the phones or responding to emails. Awful customer service. Find a different estate agents

Extremely poor contact

Impossible to get a hold of them by phone or email. Couldn't get them to contact the potential landlord to sign the tenancy agreement until 7 days after the agreed move in date at which point tried to increase the rent from £1000pcm to £1300pcm. I didn't accept it and tried contacting them for over 2 months to return my deposit and they only started replying to my emails after I threatened legal action if they didn't return my deposit. Still waited until the day before I said I would take action before returning my money. I wouldn't ever look at a house managed by this company ever again and I should have called everything off once I saw how difficult it was to get replies even before signing anything

Slammed the phone down on my father when he was enquiring about a Peacehaven bungalow and was asked if his property was on the market. When he said "Not yet" the agent simply hung up. Serious buyer turned away by this agency. Would reconsider if you are thinking of listing your property with them.

We have endured an extremely long and painful sale and purchase due to time wasters. India has made the whole process a lot less stressful. She has been amazing and worked so hard despite not being our actual agent but working for our vendors. She was constantly chasing and keeping in contact. Was an absolute pleasure to have someone like her in your corner and would certainly recommend her to anyone. Estate agents often get a bad rep, and sometimes it seems it may be deserved. I've just completed a complex purchase through Fox & Sons Rottingdean, and could not be happier with the service. Alex in particular was conscientious about keeping me up-to-date throughout, and reassured the vendors that the finance would come through in time for their own purchase deadline. The other staff, in particular Alison, were warm and very helpful. And when I got the keys yesterday, it was very touching to find the vendors had left me a lovely card wishing me happiness in the flat, and two bottles of wine to celebrate!Thanks, Alex, you were ace!

Lacking in customer service for neurodiversity

I've recently started looking for a property to buy. Being neurodivergent, I have requested all correspondence be via email from all letting agents, so i can orgabise and manage a very overwhelming process. Unfortunately, Fox and Sons (brighton) seemed to have an issue with this and even so I repeatedly requested email correspondence, I was told that 'phone calls would be easier for both of us'.
