Cubitt and West reviews

Our purchase of a small flat took several months but throughout the whole period, the staff at Cubitt & West, Peacehaven, were unfailingly helpful, courteous, always pleasant and did everything in their power to help us (two aged and often bemused clients). From the first meeting with Blaiz and Shirley, we felt comfortable as they dealt with our questions. We also thank Gary most sincerely for his patience and extra diligence in guiding us through what we saw as a confused and difficult process. All three of them deserve our sincere thanks. Cubitt & West are fortunate to have such pleasant employees. Roy & Ann Forrester

David and the team were amazing at Cubitt and west in peacehaven! David was caring and thoughtful with our requirements and what we wanted to achieve from the sale of our property! The process was easy and stress free! Blaiz and Shirley were great at communicating feedback on views from our property and offers that were put forward, always keeping us updated on the progress and response from potential buyers. The amount of respect and ‘nothing is too small’ attitude from David, Blaiz and Shirley was brilliant. We would definitely use them for any future sales! Thankyou to them and the whole team to help, what can be a stressful time actually stress free!

Blaiz was accommodating and professional with a personal touch too when I needed to visit with tradesmen. Our move was 8 weeks start to finish and went so smoothly. We were kept informed every step of the way as to progress by both Blaiz and Garry. All in all a stress free experience and I would recommend Cubitts Peacehaven.

We only moved locally. We purchased our property through Cubitt & West in Peacehaven. We dealt with Blaiz who was extremely helpful from the outset to completion. I have to say they were far more active and helpful than the local estate agent that we sold our property through. Considering we were not their client We have no hesitation in recommending them. Well done Blaiz!

I would like to thank the staff at the Peacehaven branch for their much needed help with the buying process, Blaze, Shirley and Garry were very helpful and patient with my (88 & 92 year old )parents who came back from the states to live, My mother was very confused by all the complicated & techie stuff the solicitors gave her to do and with out the help of these three members of your staff I don't think we would have got through the process of buying their flat,

I've just exchanged contracts on my new home in the North West and I wanted to make the time to say how helpful I have found everyone at Cubitt and West with my sale in Saltdean. I feel that David and Shirley have a wealth of expertise and knowledge of the local property market. David's advice - although it wasn't necessarily what I always wanted to hear - was very sound and what he said was right. It definitely worked for me. As others have said, Shirley was endlessly patient and she too gave good advice which helped me with my onward purchase. James and Harriet have been helpful and cheerful. There are many days in the selling process when good cheer is needed! Garry, who progressed the sale, is excellent. He kept me well informed and I really had a sense that he was 'in my corner' for me. Overall, I would say that as a seller I have felt in good hands throughout the process. My thanks to everyone at the branch.

Ive been dealing with Cubbit & West in Peacehaven for a few weeks now, in particular a Sales Consultant called Harriet, now I must say that in all my years of life I've never spoken to a more professional, passionate, self driven and caring individual within this industry and I'm 49yrs old myself. I can place my hand on my heart and say that if all estate agents were like Hariett and Cubbit and West then their would not be such a negative stigma around the industry. I would recommend Harriet and Cubbit & West to everyone. Keep up the great work professional friendly ethic MP

We Met Blaize sorry if I’ve spelt it wrong for the first while looking for bungalows near Brighton and my sister in law and myself found him to be so approachable and very helpful and understanding our needs but unfortunately we were able to find a bungalow with another estate agent my sister in law was quite upset that we couldn’t of done a deal with Blaize because of how nice he had been towards us.Paul & Carmen

James was absolutely fantastic when doing our viewings, as first time buyers it’s whole new experience for us. James was the only estate agent we’d come across that chatted to us about what options were out there for us at the moment for young people/first time buyers. He was really open, approachable and knowledgeable. As well as patient and helpful with any questions or info we required. Also, David the manager of the Peacehaven branch came to our current property to value it. He was very open and honest about the current market and was happy to talk through this process with us. He couldn’t have been anymore helpful! We appreciate this and how smooth the process thus far with Cubitt&West has been. Thank you again, Cheyanne & Jack.

As a first-time buyer I was extremely anxious about what the experience of working with estate agents would be, but these fears have been immediately alleviated by meeting the staff of Cubitt and West, Peacehaven. Shirley has been immensely helpful; she has been patient (especially in answering my endless questions), offered expert advice, and has demonstrated an exceptionally high level of professionalism and trust that my family and I are really grateful for. Never too busy to speak on the phone, Shirley has been particularly accommodating in arranging viewings, helping me understand the different conveyancing processes, and prioritising what is important for me in a property. At no point has she made me feel under any pressure; in fact, quite the opposite; it has been Shirley who has advised I take my time, revisit, compare other properties, take time to think etc, and this has helped instil confidence in my own decision making, and has involved her colleagues for further input when needed. I cannot recommend this service highly enough, especially for new clients like me; Shirley has actually helped make this experience enjoyable and exciting. The branch manager David also has an incredible wealth of knowledge and experience, and his input and support has secured an offer on our dream property. I am incredibly grateful to them both. Shirley will certainly be the first person I arrange to work with again if the current property does not work out, as I know I will continue to receive a trustworthy, helpful and personalised service.

I had such a great experience buying my first home with this estate agency. The team were so friendly, patient, and always happy to answer my questions. In particular, Blaiz kept me updated every step of the way and made everything feel a lot less overwhelming. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase property!

We cannot express how professional and knowledgeable Blaiz was when trying to find a new home for us. Unfortunately for Blaiz we accepted an offer through another agent, however, Blaiz was genuinely pleased that we had found our home and wished us all the best. He will go above and beyond for you.

My wife and I have been searching for a property in the area and found one that was on offer with Cubitt and West. Karen has gone the extra mile in every respect so far with the viewing and buying process. During the viewings she was very accommodating, even offering to transport us between properties, and she provided an excellent bridge between us and the developer. Every query has been answered promptly and very professionally, and always with a very sympathetic and reassuring touch. We also liked that she reached out proactively to follow up and answer any open questions and concerns, but was never giving a hard sell. From our point of view it has been the best experience we had so far with an estate agent. We would recommend Karen and her agency without hesitation.

If I could add more stars, I would. I had an apartment for sale for 6 months with another agency with out hardly any viewing, maybe 3. I decided to try another agency cubitt & West since they always called me to find out if I sold it. Absolutely fantastic service, Karen was always so helpful, actually all team was on top of everything from start to end. Also I was amazed when it got sold within a week after just gone with company. It's shows you, the positively and great attitude we exchanged today. More then happy THANK YOU ;)

Cubitt & West Peacehaven recently sold our property after it had spent more than a year with two other agents (in what has been, admittedly, a difficult time in the housing market). Our thanks to David Knox, the branch manager, who was always very helpful and personable, as well as Garry Wheeler, the sales progressor, who did a great job in keeping us well informed all the way towards exchanging - top marks to both. Also thanks to Godfrey Haire, our first contact with the company, who gave us the faith to keep going and give C&W a try.
