I chose Carruthers & Luck to exclusively market and manage the sale of my one bedroom flat in Saltdean. They have a wealth of local knowledge and excellent promotion via websites such as Rightmove plus regular monthly advertising on the back cover of the regionally distributed and respected monthly "Deans Magazine". I was delighted to see my flat advertised on Rightmove and on the back cover of the "Deans Magazine" I discussed the marketing of my flat with Director, Steve Luck, early February this year when he visited my flat. Strategy and price were mutually agreed during that visit and a very pleasing and well-presented sales brochure was prepared by the C&L team. After several viewing accompanied by C&L, an accepted offer close to the agreed asking price by a no-chain cash buyer was accepted by me. The Memorandum of Sale was issued by C&L on 4 April 2025. I had a demanding and hard-to-find specification for my future property - a two bedroom ground floor flat with a garage on the south coast between Worthing and Eastbourne. Two properties found were later rejected after receiving critical Home Buyer Surveyor Reports commissioned by me. I kept Steve Luck and Thomas Hayden at C&L fully informed of those two property purchase rejections. A third property found in Eastbourne and marketed by a local estate agent had my offer accepted on 26 July 2025. Despite my best efforts, for that purchase with no forward chain, the conveyancing progressed slower than I hoped. Completion was achieved on 4 December 2025 for that property and the sale of my Saltdean flat by C&L. I kept Thomas at C&L fully informed of progress with my Eastbourne purchase and he liaised with the buyer of my Saltdean flat who was generous in his sympathy for the delays totally beyond my control. I sincerely thank the C&L Team for their understandings when my property purchase transactions were frustrated or subsequently progressed slowly, and for ensuring that my buyer stayed the course. Wonderful service and support by the professional C&L Team. I am truly grateful and C&L's services are highly recommended. Thank you.

We were very fortunate in choosing Carruthers and Luck to handle the sale of our house in Broomfield Avenue, Telscombe Cliffs earlier this year. A small independent company, largely family members, we found with everyone in the establishment, that their work ethics were professional, efficient, competent and going that extra mile for their clients. In our case, the understanding and approach produced excellent results. It may be luck, no pun intended, but that is rarely achieved without knowing your subject and hard graft. For example, in less than a month of the house going on the market, we received an offer. Following negotiations, we agreed a price almost at the upper price range recommended by the Company.
