Excellent communication through every step of the sales process ensured that I was kept informed at each stage. This proved especially important when the chain broke down and it was necessary to create a new chain whilst retaining the stronger components of the previous chain. I never felt that I was not fully informed at any stage and when professional advisers along the chain required a nudge, RR were not hesitant in intervening to keep the process on track.

I sold my property through Robinson Reade and they were great at keeping me up to date with any viewings. Donetta was my main point of contact and once an offer was accepted she was excellent at ensuring that all the relevant paperwork was completed, people were held to account and issues were followed though. It was a lengthy process, through no fault of this estate agent, but a long chain of buyers/sellers. Donetta was great at chasing other estate agents and solicitors. Not shying away from informing me of the not so good news, she ensured that I was always informed of issues and progress. I would recommend this estate agent to other sellers in the future.

GoogleI’ve contacted Robinson Reade several times regarding a property and found the experience very frustrating. Despite having significant funds available and more than enough to meet any standard affordability criteria, I was told that I didn’t qualify. Communication was poor, and after waiting a week for updates, I was eventually told the property had already been taken.
Overall, I felt my time was wasted and the process was handled unprofessionally. Based on my experience, I personally would not recommend them.
*UPDATE*
I’m disappointed by the reply I received from the company. Rather than acknowledging the issues I raised, the response was argumentative and included statements that were simply untrue. Normally, when a business replies constructively and genuinely apologises, I’m more than happy to update my review to reflect that.
However, the tone and content of this response showed a complete disregard for my actual experience. As some friendly advice to the company: a sincere, accurate, and non-defensive reply will always go a lot further than trying to rewrite events.
Because of the nature of their reply, I will be keeping this review at one star.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m genuinely sorry that you were left feeling frustrated, that’s never the experience we want anyone to have.
Having reviewed the communication with our team, I can see that, initially, we did not offer a viewing because we did not believe your application would meet the landlord’s criteria. We always try to avoid wasting anyone’s time or raising hopes about a property when we don’t think an application would be accepted.
However, after further discussion, we did get back in touch to offer you a viewing, but unfortunately we didn’t receive a reply. By the time you later contacted us again, the landlord had already agreed a let with another applicant, which I appreciate must have been disappointing.
We accept that our communication could have been clearer and I apologise if you were left waiting for updates.
Your comments have been taken on board, and we are reviewing our processes to ensure applicants receive quicker and more consistent communication. GoogleHuge thanks to Emma in sales and Donetta who managed the sale. I can't recommend Robinson Reade highly enough. I viewed a lot of properties with other agents and they were next to useless. Turning up without keys, not having any of the information I needed. I'm not sure how you can sell a property without knowing basic details like parking and service charges. But Robinson Reade were a breath of fresh air, they actually called me immediately when a property I was interested in became available (I had contacted them only once and left my details with them months before). Emma was at the property for the viewing early to greet me, I had a lot of questions and she had ALL the answers. Prepared in every way. Thats how you sell a property. Once an offer had been accepted, Donetta arranged everything, sorted all of the paperwork, explained everything very clearly and made sure myself and the vendor knew exactly what was happening, and when. Communication and customer service were perfect. I never had to chase Robinson Reade to do anything, they were always on top of everything, from first contact to handing over the keys. If you have a property to sell - choose Robinson Reade. If you are looking to buy, you better hope the seller of your dream home chose Robinson Reade :)

To clarify, after you had already provided your name and telephone number, the only additional information we requested was your address. We did not ask for any other personal information.
We ask for an address as part of arranging a viewing. This is not about unnecessary data collection; it forms part of our customer due diligence and helps us keep our team safe when arranging appointments with people we have not met before.
Unfortunately, personal safety is something all estate agents have to take seriously, particularly where members of staff may be meeting unknown individuals or attending vacant properties. Our procedures are informed by recognised lone-worker safety guidance, including recommendations promoted by the Suzy Lamplugh Trust, and are applied consistently to everyone.

1st Phillippa who showed me around the property and was very knowledgable about it answered all my questions and sorted my on ward offer out very smoothly.
2nd Sharyn who all ways greeted me with a smile and re assured me when I couldn’t talk to Donetta
Then 3rd Donetta this wonderful lady was a tower of strength to me helpful beyond any words. And at the 11th hour when I was away on holiday and need help she swooped in took control and got everything sorted. I can not thank her enough and I don’t have the words. She is a true asset to your company . So professional but there with a kind word when needed .I live on my own
