Feel like we’ve been conned out of a holding deposit and zero support from letting staff as first time renters we obtained legal advice and also been informed of being conned due to the very crafting wording of the agreement upon referencing and credit and non refundable deposits

Started looking at potentially buying a property however wasn’t sure on where to start. Tried using Google and read articles etc however I wasn’t finding it helpful. I like local to park gate so though I might aswell call up a local estate agents and see if anyone could give advice and have a chat about it. Spoke to a lady called Lauren who was very knowledgeable and friendly, she explained how everything works when buying a property and even suggested a few properties to look at on the website! However circumstances have changed and I won’t be buying at this current time, however when I do I’ll be heading to beals! Thank you for all the help!

I visited beal's North end branch today and am delighted to say I had an amazing experience from a Mr back. There's always a stigma around estate agents trying to hard sell and push on clients but to my up most pleasure this was not the case. He made me feel at home and more then welcome very acomidating as we went through the best properties for my needs. I'd 100 percent refer Mr back to anyone looking to find a new property. an A star VIP treatment. Beal's are lucky to have a man of his caliber. Left feeling happy and content with the experience.

Trustpilot5 months & £1,500 wasted! Le Marechal, Bursledon
We were due to exchange on our purchase of the 3 bed detached property in Le Marechal Avenue, Bursledon this week. However, after 5 months of waiting and after spending thousands of pounds on searches, enquiry and mortgage fees, the vendor has now decided to increase the price by £15,000. Beals phoned me yesterday to tell me the news and after telling the agent we could not afford the increase, they decided to put it back on the market immediately. It is extremely unethical of Beals to continue to collaborate with this vendor after they completely messed up our sale and purchase just weeks before we were due to move. We have financially and emotionally suffered because of this vendor and I am utterly flabbergasted that Beals are encouraging this sort of behaviour. Incredibly poor service, unreliable, unethical and untrustworthy. The property has already fallen through twice and the vendor has increased the price both times. I wouldn’t recommend viewing or putting an offer on this property because it is reasonably foreseeable that the same thing will happen again.

GoogleDO NOT RENT THROUGH BEALS! Myself and my girlfiend viewed a property with Beals numerous times and put down a holidng deposit. Our referencing went though as normal and we were all set to move in. The estate agent then couldnt get hold of the landlord for weeks to ' confirm our tenancy' yet we were told everything is going as planned and we had nothing to worry about as he lived in america so it can be hard with different times. We understood this and as we were told everything will be fine we gave notice to our current landlord. BIG MISTAKE! 4 days before we were due to move in we were told they cannot get hold of the landlord (barring in mind there is new tennants moving into our current property) ovbiously we were devistated and didnt understand how this could happen but put it down too him deciding to rent privatley and it was agreed this is most likely the case. Much to our disbelief as our moving date is meant to be THIS Friday they have re-put the ad on Rightmove and given us no explanation!!! We are have protentially been made homeless through this Estate Agent for absolutley no given reason and I wouldnt want anybody to go through the stress we have because it has really had an impact on my mental health. Please be careful when renting through Beals, we will not make this mistake again.NegativeQuality, Professionalism

GoogleWhile renting through Beals they were very slow to respond to any matters. As far as I was aware while renting they have a duty of care to the tennant. This is not the case, they side with the landlord no matter how bad they let the property get. I would not reccomend them at all to let through. All they are interested in is getting the rent. I had no end of problems and they wouldn't even help me with issues after I decided to move out. AVOID.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value
