Davis Tate are an excellent team, from the first meeting to completion and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them as you will be well looked after in a friendly but professional manner. James Harrison visited the flat following the recent loss of my uncle. He was extremely professional and knowledgable (had obtained updated sales information on similar properties in the area and gave an appropriate and realistic valuation). He was sympathetic to our situation and was very supportive too. We were delighted with the advice he gave to ensure the property was ready and shown in the best possible way. Once the property was on the market the Pangbourne team ensured we were updated weekly of the viewings and progress and gave valuable advice on the proceedings. Samantha and Sarah ensured that all the information was kept up to date between us and living so far away gave us such peace of mind that we were in good hands. The property was sold in about 7 months and completed soon after, the delays were from the purchasers but Davis Tate's team helped things progress as quickly as possible. All the team coped and responded with the same, to my husbands humour, and this helped even more at this difficult time. Thank you again we know my Uncle would have been very pleased with all your hard work and as he bought the flat through the same branch we feel we definitely made the correct choice in agents.

Accurate market

I decided to instruct Davis Tate as they have previously provided very sound market advice, on again on this occasion I thought their market assessment was well considered and they provided comparable evidence to support their view. I was particularly impressed with the time and trouble that Richard took to capture good photographs of the property as this is all important. All viewings have been handled by the whole office with extreme efficiciency and they always give me feedback after the viewings. so far they have successfully completed the sale of one of my properties with minimum ease and speed and they were always on top of what was happening with the legal process and the funding situation. Two more properties to go! My rating for this firm is 'exemplary' - they are everything that a very good, professional firm of estate agents should be and I really cannot think of any areas where they could improve - very well done team!

We had given up any hope of our own Estate Agent's help when selling our Mum's house. They never answered calls and never kept us up to date on anything. However help was at hand, because our buyer's Agents at Davis Tate were brilliant from the beginning to the end. Sarah, Richard and also Samantha, never failed to answer the phone and pursue my inquiries as to how the sale was progressing; or if not immediately available one of them always called me back. They were friendly, helpful and very professional. Because of our frustrations with our own agents, and the buyer's solicitor who never contacted our solicitor, I worried that I would become a nuisance, but that was never the case. They were all unfailingly helpful to the point where they called me when we had exchanged. I really do wonder if our own agents even knew that we had.

Davis Tate were the 3rd agents who I enlisted to sell my large, unique house and as soon as I met Vanessa, I knew that she was the woman for the job! Vanessa concentrated hard on matching the right buyer to the house and pretty quickly identified the family who did go on to purchase at a price very close to the asking price. She and Richard worked as a team and were very professional and informative and kept me updated very regularly. We initially approached Davis

We initially approached Davis Tate (Pangbourne) for a valuation 12 months prior to deciding to put the house on the market. Richard came out to meet us and gave us some excellent advice about what we might need to do in order to make the house quicker to sell. When the time came to put the house on the market we had no hesitation in appointing Davis Tate, because we liked Richard's calm, professional (and non-pushy!) manner. The house sold very quickly - in just over 3 weeks. Unfortunately the timescales to move were longer than we'd have liked - due to difficulty with the house we wanted to buy. I contacted DavisTate along with a number of other agents in the area all of whom visited the property and gave recommendations as to how the property should be marketed. I chose DavisTate because I felt that they gave a realistic valuation. When I later decided to put the property on the market they very quickly came up with a number of potential buyers. I was carefully taken through all the processes and they liaised with my solicitors giving regular reports on progress. When the first buyer dropped out they quickly found another, which was successful. I found all staff to be very helpful, friendly and totally professional at all times.
