Alice Creighton from Jackson - Stops visited my property last month, she was on time , polite and professional . Alice accompanied me around the property and listened to the problems I had . I felt very supported as she took photos and listened. After Alice’s visit I was quickly contacted by the relevant professionals to complete the works, I was really impressed at how quickly this was arranged . I had to contact Alice a few times with a couple of queries over the past few weeks and her reply has always been quick and informative, and minor problems solved instantly .I’m very impressed with the service that Alice provided , and feel secure that any future issues dealt with just as efficiently.

Our objective last October when we approached Jackson-Stops to market our property was to achieve a sale as soon as possible. Market conditions were not favourable and even deteriorated over the winter months. Despite this, Karl Ormerod approached the challenge professionally, liaising with us throughout the process and communicating regularly (not always during standard office hours). Sadly 1 star. My experience with them is they are dishonest and will work within legal frameworks whilst lying to you. Bought a non primary residence in the Cotswolds with them recently, was told the oven was an everhot.. it’s not, it’s a smeg. Was told the property had previously been under offer at the same price.. it hadn’t, it was 150k lower, found out through severe googling this week. Was told the house had been surveyed and ready to go (we of course carried out our own) and lots of issues came up they knew about and didn’t flag. MOST ashamedly, they accepted out of asking and then AFTER doing all of the background checks and mortgage offer etc etc etc they told us that the house had an outstanding land issue (known about by them months before offer was made) that required hundreds of thousands of pounds to be paid to resolve and had no immediate timeline.

A Fantastic team, lead by Anthony Jevons at The Hale office meant the sale of our property went smoothly from start to finish. The house was sold STC within 72 hours of agreeing to use Jackson Stops and the sale completed today without a hitch. Although more expensive than quotes from other agents in the area it was well worth it and certainly money well spent. I have no hesitation in recommending this agency and Anthony Jevons in particular

I worked very closely with Lottie Watts and she ensured that the sale of my house and purchase of my new house went as smoothly as possible. Even though there were a couple of hiccups along the way, Lottie did not expect me to deal with anything, she absolutely took the stress out of the process by being available to speak to all parties and resolved the issues with the minimum of fuss. I would fully recommend using Jackson-Stops to either purchase a property form, or sell your property. I sold and moved into my new house within 4 months of my house going on the market.

Been recently been purchasing a property with Jackson Stops.Got to point of exchange but had a few issues came up from searches which hadn't been told before tried to get Stephen Cheshire to contact myself but no response only to come to a Friday to be asked are you going to exchange at time had concerns which needed answers.There response was just to put back on market and no response to my email.Even last Friday contacted Stephen and asked if property still available was told yes and sent long email.Noticed today been sold again.Basically been treated very poorly and basically rude.I'm sorry my mother was taken ill on the Friday you asked for exchange but I did email to no response back same as for last Monday.Very unprofessional not even being told vendor was selling elsewhere.

GoogleCommunication is the key when buying/selling a house. We chose Jackson Stops for their professionalism, support and accessibility and could not fault any of the team. Our purchase involved some difficult issues all of which were resolved by civil discussion. Unfortunately our buyers proved to be aggressive in their attitude, unwilling to engage in a civil discussion and unable to listen to what was being said. If it hadn't been for the perseverance of Stuart and the team, this sale would have fallen through. GoogleThe sale of our property near Oxted was a protracted one due to the coronavirus pandemic but we were supported by Jackson Stops throughout this difficult period. We found the staff at Jacksons to be dedicated, efficient and extremely knowledgeable. Stuart Routledge has been in the business for decades and seems to have total recall of details on every house in the area. They provided numerous potential purchasers, far more than other agents had done, sifting out all but the serious contenders. He, Jane Bishop and the staff at the Oxted office responded quickly to queries and kept all parties informed of progress on a regular basis, communicating regularly and instantaneously where necessary once a buyer was found. GoogleI recently sold my house in Limpsfield and Jane and her team were extremely professional and efficient in all our dealings. Specifically she was excellent in providing a realistic and accurate valuation and weeding out any potential buyers who weren’t serious. Despite inevitable delays due to Coronavirus it took no more than 10 weeks from when the property was listed to exchange of contracts. Jane was always “on the case” and thus avoided the usual delays due to minor queries or busy solicitors not giving the matter priority. I cannot recommend Jackson Stops and Jane Bishop highly enough.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism
