Really helpful and friendly. Michelle was great with giving me as much information I needed about freehold leasehold to make the purches. Overall, very satisfied and I will come to Jackson-Stops when I rent the property or look at buying another one.

We've just had an extremely unsatisfactory experience with this supposedly high end company. We invited the Northampton office to visit us with a view to marketing a high value rural property. After a very successful and pleasant visit we waited for our Marketing Appraisal , and we waited. The other 2 companies we invited to visit both responded with reports inside of a week. Now, precisely a month later we are still waiting on a report from JacksonStops! To add insult to injury, both my brother and I rang the gentlemen concerned and were assured our report was in progress. On my final call I was assured it would be me the next day by noon! I was assured he still wanted my custom and he was full of apologies for the delay. Yet still, we have no appraisal! This is not the way a professional company should treat a prospective client. Avoid the Northampton office, if not the whole company.

Sharon knew what we wanted from the moment she met us and worked with us at speed, we probably drove her mad with calling for updates, but Sharon was always incredibly professional and friendly. GoogleJ-S did the most important thing--they found a good-quality buyer and the contract exchanged. I had one main point contact at J-S, Jane. That made communications easier. Others were helpful in Jane's absence. Jane was very easy to work with which made the process smoother. J-S were persistent in following up with the buyer to keep things on track, notably in the important early stages. As the sale developed, Jane allowed me space to negotiate directly with the buyer on detailed issues that emerged from surveys etc on an older complex property. That worked well as my relationship with the buyer developed on nitty-gritty matters. I'd recommend J-S to others. David

GoogleWe bought our home through Jackson-Stops Oxted and the staff were extremely helpful and supportive. Jane, Jenny and Stuart were always very quick and eager to provide answers to our numerous questions whenever Christine, whom we mostly dealt with, was unavailable. Christine always had a cheerful disposition and was very patient. She didn't mind our various requests to view the property with different tradesmen since the property required a lot of work and we needed to have a lot of things checked. The process of making an offer, right through to when contracts were exchanged was quite stressful but would have been much worse without the support of the staff at Jackson Stops Oxted. We will wholeheartedly recommend them to any one planning to sell or rent their next home. Charis & Nana

GoogleJenny from Jackson-Stops was absolutely amazing. We were re-locating from London and did not know the area or anyone local whatsoever. I truly believe that our stress free (a miracle with 2 children) upheaval/move was down to Jenny - her communication with us and the sellers was perfect, she was always available, making the purchase go smoothly and without any hitches whatsoever. Jenny, went far above and beyond to help us with our move, helpful advice, recommendations to name just a few things - making life so much easier. I can not recommend Jenny enough... I would recommend Jenny to anyone looking to move into the area and certainly if you are looking to sell she certainly helped us with our purchasing decision!

GoogleWe purchased a house prior to Christmas through Jackson-Stops , which was handled by Jane Bishop. As an offer had been made below the asking price via another agent, Jane moved quickly to secure the purchase. Through her wealth of contacts, she provided us with details for a local solicitor, surveyor and an insurance broker to ensure a smooth passage to exchange. Exchange was achieved in 4 days (!!!) and we completed before the end of January. This rightly secured the Oxted office an award for "Deal of the Year", of which they should be justly proud. As importantly, Jane has offered an after care service that makes a mockery of the traditional estate agent being cast as the pantomime villain. In summary, I would not hesitate to recommend Jackson-Stops in Oxted and, in particular, Jane Bishop should you wish to buy or sell a property.

GoogleIn a sale recently exchanged, Jane Bishop delivered an exceptional and personal service. Unexpected complications arose, to do with the fabric of the property itself and on legal matters. These could easily have resulted in the sale being lost, because of the delays and stresses that they caused. Jane kept the full confidence of both sellers and buyers throughout and went the extra mile to help sort out the problems - her commitment, calmness and professionalism were impressive.

We cannot speak too highly of the help, support and encouragement we received from James Carroll and his wife Ria at Jackson-Stops, Barnstaple. They fully understood the significance to us of the move we were making, and never made light of it. And they gave us assistance and advice with our purchase (which was not through Jackson-Stops) as well as our sale. They were so completely professional in their work for us, but also friendly and supportive, pushing and battling for us, or asking a pointed question, or making a diplomatic phone call, at just the right moments. And when the going got tough, there was no-one else I would have wanted watching our back. Moving to a new country is always a challenge. Paula B. and Jackson-Stops really helped make the process much smoother. I felt supported through the letting process. My move in was complicated by Covid and they were so helpful during that very stressful time.I feel like they give me plenty of notice if there is a need to enter the home and follow up on any needs.I plan to be here quite awhile and, if I ever need to move, feel I would look through their properties first.Thank you!

We purchased our first property through Jackson-Stops. From start to finish they were amazing.Throughout the whole process they kept in contact with us either through email or telephone call. Keeping us up to date with updates from the seller or the solicitor. Even when we were waiting for long periods of time for information, they would keep us informed that they are doing all they can to keep the process moving.Once we completed and we went to pick up the keys, we were greeted with friendly and chatty employees who were really happy for us. They even gave us a bottle of champagne which was a really thoughtful touch.
