GoogleMy brother died suddenly and I was faced with selling his house. It was in poor condition and 350 miles from me. Stanbra Powell provided excellent and friendly service and support in both standard house sales activities and in assisting with less usual requirements. This resulted in a successful sale at a good price.

GoogleDon't bother if any occupant has bad credit, regardless of whether they're a tenant or not. Due to a "duty of care" to the landlord, they will credit check everyone over 18 in the property (even permitted occupants). So if anyone has a CCJ, don't bother. No amount of savings, references or guarantors could sway their concrete stance on this - indeed, out of every estate agent we tried in Banbury (6+), Stanbra Powell were the only ones who refused to even try to reach a compromise with the landlord. Oh, and they also tried to keep a holding deposit by claiming we provided false/misleading information (we didn't), and I had to start going down the redress scheme route before suddenly "on this occasion" the desposit was returned.

GoogleStanbra Powell have managed the tenancies on my property in Banbury since 2013. They were recommended to me when I was seeking an alternative agent to one which had proved to be unsatisfactory. I have found the members of the Lettings Team to be friendly, courteous and efficient. Administrative matters, safety checks at the house and enquiries from the tenants are dealt with in a timely manner. They have provided me with helpful advice on a number of issues.The Commission charged for these services is reasonable.I have no hesitation in recommending Stanbra Powell as a Letting Agency.

GoogleFrom the first visit to our house, through to the completion of both our sale and purchase, Stanbra Powell were absolutely brilliant. We were extremely impressed with the vision and ideas that Adam had for the potential our house had and that convinced us he was the best man to sell our house. We therefore also wanted to look to buy through Stanbra as well, and Adam again came up trumps, showing us a property that was just going on the market in addition to the ones we had requested. That other house turned out to be the one for us. From start to finish, Stanbra got the communication levels absolutely spot on and they moved at our pace, (which was quickly). Both Martin and Luisa, also helped things progress, as well as the outstanding service received from Adam. I cannot praise them highly enough.

GoogleEveryone at Stanbra Powell has been absolutely fantastic throughout every stage of the buying process. As a first time buyer, it was hugely reassuring to have such a responsive team of people guiding me through - everyone I spoke to either had an answer straight away, knew the best person to ask, or knew the best person to keep chasing to get something done. When they said they would call me back, they did. Whenever there was a period of time where it seemed like nothing was moving forwards, I was given a useful and well-timed update. When a member of staff left for annual leave, their colleague picked up queries with equal efficiency. I consider myself very lucky that the property I was most fond of happened to be on the market with this company; I have and will recommend Stanbra Powell to anyone looking to buy in Banbury.

I've dealt mainly with Martin and Luisa and found them thoroughly professional. They have returned my calls straight away and kept me updated with other issues further down the property chain. GoogleThis could have been an extremely stressful experience selling my late mother’s bungalow but with the help of Stanbra Powell especially the lovely Luisa every thing went extremely smoothly and very quickly. GoogleWe used Martin Upton and he was the best agent we could have hoped for. He worked 10 times harder than any other agent in our chain (he wasn't our own agent) and was instrumental in getting us moved in, in our required time frame. He has a lovely calm demeanour, whilst also being ferociously driven and organised and without the cliche sales agent tactics. I would use him again without thinking and I am very grateful for all his exceptional hard work.

They kept me up to date on a regular basis when viewings were arranged and provided great feedback from the viewings that helped in making decisions when selling the property.
