GoogleWe instructed Knight Frank’s Oxford office as executors of our mother’s estate for the sale of the family home. Olly Saxton advised us on the marketing strategy and was always available and responsive throughout the transaction. As the house would be a possible renovation project, he advised a realistic price in the hope of attracting higher offers, and also for us to obtain a seller’s survey report to avoid the risk of later renegotiations due to the condition of the property. Both proved spot on. We live a long way from the property and so Knight Frank were also very helpful in recommending companies to do maintenance work and being present for these visits, as well as all the viewings - they even took final meter readings for us on completion. We could not be more happy with the service provided by Knight Frank’s Oxford office and Olly Saxton in particular.

GoogleExtremely disappointing service. Our family house, in a prime north Oxford location, went on the market in spring 2021, during the stamp duty holiday and just as lockdowns were easing - an excellent time for selling. By November 2021 it was still on the market despite two reductions in price. The new agent we chose had a string of offers within two weeks of launching in December! One of the offers was from a prospective buyer who had viewed previously with KF but had not been shown the whole house and cited a lack of enthusiasm by the agent and no follow-up. KF’s viewings were functional and unenthusiastic and unprofessional, lights were left on, doors not double-locked on exit and one time the Keysafe was left open! We will certainly not be recommending Knight Frank.

GoogleTruly dreadful. Failed to communicate key information between buyer and vendor. Didn't communicate absence over crucial dates in the process. Caused a significant delay, and could have cost the deal.

GoogleIt is always good to know you have a strong team behind you when you put your house on the market and this is what Knight Frank provided for me. From the start when Harry Sheppard came round to see the house, he was positive, realistic and empathetic. The viewing agents, Polly and Philippa, were excellent, very professional and good at their job. Knight Frank provided contact details for other professionals one needs such as photographers and solicitors. Everyone I met was pleasant and helpful. They were upfront about costs and there were no hidden charges. They took a lot of trouble with the brochure. Those behind the scenes such as Marrium, who set up viewings, and Giselle who did the sales progression, made life as easy as possible. Harry worked incredibly hard to get the best price. He was always available on the phone or through WhatsApp. Once I had exchanged contracts, he followed up with advice about the move and what to do now. I cannot recommend the team highly enough.
