TrustpilotDo not take responsibility or interest…
Do not take responsibility or interest in the legalities of what they are selling. For instance, they have had a Goldthorpe S Yorks property on there books since at least 2017 ( when it was reduced in price). The property includes a building in the yard, which might have been sold separately. Person on the phone, did not know what the status of the property was.Park Rd Barnsley. Very large garden, with planning permission for house, actually permission is expired and owner of property sold land to company he owns. Have pressed on whether the owner is in a position to sell the land. No answer.Everyone at an individual office is given a title such as CEO

TrustpilotPrejudice against benefit Applicants
Prejudice against People on Benefits!! Warning to Landlords ! You should be aware I was told, over the phone by this office, that as I was on benefits ,they required a Guarantor to earn 30 times more than the Annual rent .That's £144,000 on a £400 pm rental. This is blatant victimisation to put benefit applicants off. People who work are just as likely to not pay the rent. As a matter of fact I have not missed rent in past 14 years. You Landlords are not been served well by this Ethically ignorant Agent.

TrustpilotThis is the worst letting agent we have…
This is the worst letting agent we have tried to deal with. We are customers trying to let for the next 5 years. We are looking for properties in Tamworth and after 5 applications on line have never heard anything not even a call or email. Come on Hunters this is not the way to do business. Very unhappy couple in 50s and 60s

TrustpilotHunters, Elland
Hunters, Elland.Grateful to have Chantelle and the team assisting my elderly mum who really struggles with online use. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they took the extra time to get her moved in properly.Lovely staff and very helpful.

TrustpilotHunters (Bingley) ok for letting and sale
I used Hunters (Bingley) for letting and for a sale. They managed letting better than premier lettings in Bingley that I had been using. And they put in the leg work for the sale when things needed chasing.

TrustpilotSutton Coldfield branch
Where do you start??? No online presence, rude staff and a general disinterest in selling my house. Don't use them, they are rude, obnoxious and really have no interest in selling your property. There is no personal service at all. A disgraceful attitude from staff too.

TrustpilotHunters Sidcup.
This review is specifically for the Sidcup Branch. Having failed to secure a sale with another estate agent due to the purchaser failing to provide a Mortgage and finding that estate agent not very helpful I relisted it with Hunters, after explaining I only want honesty regardless of what the situation is. I gave them the names of the previous people who wanted to buy my house but couldn’t because they couldn’t finance it and was assured that I would get great service. The house was listed, viewings made and an offer was accepted.we found a house to buy and the process began. 2 months later, my buyer still has no mortgage offer, I’ve incurred costs with the purchase and buy a chance conversation with Hunters I find the name of my new purchasers.when I check my records its only the same people who attempted to buy it before.Hunters had completely failed to run a check on these buyers and clearly hadn’t used the information I’d given them. From that point onwards the whole process just got worse, weeks passed, empty promises made, deadlines missed. I have nothing but total distrust for this Branch who lied, failed to answer calls and emails yet desperately tried to hang on to the sale without once apologising for their failings. Anyone thinking it using these amateurs, I would advise to think again.

TrustpilotTwo Faced Liars
Hunters actively prefer Google reviews, and don't monitor their Trustpilot account I wonder why? Could it be that the truth can be found HERE...?Initially, staff were very polite and helpful. However, then they became blunt, shirty and dragged their feet. Tried to put me off after a viewing, and then got caught in a blatant lie. Brigg branch okay, Gainsborough branch...just awful...!!!Worst experience I've ever had as a tenant, and a property owner. Will be avoiding Hunters like the plague from now on - blacklisted - and would urge caution if YOU are thinking of using them

TrustpilotWould not reccomend
We bought our house through Hunters. Would wait days for responses to emails, take multiple attempts to get them to pick up the phone and when we did get our new home we found that it was full of an absolute mountain of crap. So much for any due diligence before selling the house? Do they not check that the previous owners leave it in an acceptable state before handing it over?

GoogleI have rented a property with them for a year now, in that time they have have either been very slow or ignore you completely when trying to contact them about any issues with the house. One month there was an overpayment from our end and they insisted that to refund it would cost £18 admin fee and then when I disagreed about that fee, continued to talk down to me like a child.

TrustpilotUnprofessional - don't use this company
I am a landlord to a small studio in Leeds. Kirsten Airs agreed to drop their 12.5% plus VAT fees down to 10% including VAT, but then didn't do so. She has been avoiding my calls ever since, despite me threatening legal action and to raise a complaint with the ombudsmen. If you are a landlord, I would suggest you don't use this company.

TrustpilotDon't fix the leak for 8 months
They respond only to the simplest things. Whenever it becomes tiny bit more complicated - nothing is taken care of. We have a leaking pipe on the outside of our property for 8 months. We let them know about this in the first several weeks of our tenancy. Over 8 months it's been back and forth, and NOTHING about this leak has been fixed. Every time someone takes a shower, we have a shower in our conservatory. They do send the workers, true, but only when there is no rain. And these are new workers every time, who look at it, scratch their heads and do nothing. You need to chase them every day, if you want to have anything done. They don't care about you, don't care about the property. The worst experience with the estate agents in my 12 years of renting.

TrustpilotThe worst of the worst
Horrific - DO NOT USE unless you want your property to sit on property apps and social media overpriced for months with no viewings. Hunters Folkestone never checked who owned the property that they listed. I was the legal owner and they had the tenant sign the contract which they then proceeded to lose along with the set of keys. They never informed us that the agent managing the listing had left, no feedback on the 3 viewings they arranged, and the open day they promised never materialised. No calls no contact no marketing. Nothing. When we decided to withdraw the property we had to ask more than once for the listing to be taken down. Went to the branch to collect keys and it was shut long before closing time. The level of incompetence and appalling customer service is truly staggering.

TrustpilotOne of the WORST agencies you can work…
One of the worst agencies you can work with. We booked a viewing for a house, confirmed it that day, drove an hour, and nobody bothered to come. When finally reaching them, after numerous phone calls, they just said they tried to contact us for another day. We had no phone calls, no messages, nothing. The lady I talked to was stunningly rude and yelled constantly. Please STAY AWAY FROM THEM.

TrustpilotTHIS RELATES TO HUNTERS IN NORTHENDON…
THIS RELATES TO HUNTERS IN NORTHENDON M22 4FZ.I have been using Hunters for the last two years and I have to say they are shocking and that is an understatement. Do not use this company. You constantly have to chase them to do things which your paying them for and they never answer their phone. This place is run by Alan who seems to have a chip on his shoulder and under him is John who simply makes it up as he's goes along. I've just ended my agreement with them and my tenant called to say despite promises from them to refund the deposit he still hasn't been paid and could I call them I just did to help him out and was told by Alan they no longer work for me. Just being an absolute idiot with an attitude. He then hung up on me. I went their last week to get the keys back and Nick had been dealing with my account, got told by John he wasn't there and then 5 mins later he walks out of the back room. Just a couple of examples of the way Hunters operate. Stay away from them is my advice. Plenty of estate agents in this area to go to.

TrustpilotHUNTERS STANMORE
HUNTERS STANMOREI am going through a messy divorce and needed to get a home valued. Because my ex-partner wishes to buy the property and was looking for the lowest valuation she could get. The Hunters agent valued the property at a going rate for a three bedroom property at a measly £550,000 when the property is five bedrooms and quite substantial with three bathrooms, a double garage, and large garden. In addition, the said property has modern fixtures and fittings throughout. Similar properties in the area are being valued at between £650,000 and £700,000. Do not trust Hunters in STANMORE.
