I’d like to praise Ruby, the lettings negotiator, for a fantastic service. After my previous tenant gave notice, Ruby was quick to let me know and quickly found a range of excellent potential tenants. She moved quickly to ensure all contracts were signed and her communication with me was excellent. The new tenant moved in the day after the flat was vacated, and Ruby even arranged for gas inspection/certificate on same day. A superb managed-service. Well done Ruby!

Avoid - You have been warned!! 4. Update Sept 26. Delay, delay, delay! Still no progress. Connells still hold onto the deposit without cause or explanation. Are Connells in financial difficulties? Is that the reason they are failing to return security deposits? Are Connells going bancrupt? ................................. 3. Update late July 26... Avoid, go anywhere else but here. Still without good cause they have yet to return the tenants deposit. What an outfit. Why would anyone permit them to hold someones deposit?!!! ............................ Avoid, go anywhere else but here. 2. Update July 26..... Then to confirm the lack of professional standards employed, they unilaterally cease control of the Tenants Security Deposit & refuse to hand it back without cause. What an outfit. Incompetent, deceitful, money grabbing sharks. 1. What an unpleasant experience dealing with these people. Started well enough when they were selling something but rapidly fell apart when had to perform. Local staff blindly followed the single company line making a mockery of their "bespoke service to landlords", then exceeded their brief & authority & finally overcharged. Clearly a ridged centrally controlled business unable to trust local staff who were found to be lacking in understanding, experiance & customer awareness.
