I chose Breckon and Breckon to sell my house in East Oxford and switched from the agents from whom I had bought it on account of the very professional and honest first impression I had of George. First impressions were reinforced when I met Robyn and Jenny. An excellent sales price was quickly achieved and together they managed to deliver a stress-free sale of my property even when the first buyer unexpectedly pulled out ( I accepted a new offer within days and relied entirely on George's advice on negotiation). The team's personal commitment to high service to both seller and buyer was amazing. Energy levels were always positive and high and communication excellent. Robyn and George even dealt with last minute issues for me the week before completion when I was away on holiday (e.g. having the front door lock fixed). A nice bottle of champagne is on its way to George, Robyn and Jenny as a big thank you and is well deserved!

Fantastic all-round service

Decent, kind and understanding - rare estate agents!

Breckon and Breckon saved my sanity during my 6-month property search in Central Oxford. The entire team - even those I hadn't met! - were consistently well-informed about the properties I was seeing, could tell me the next steps or the likely position, and offered advice, support and sheer encouragement during what was a stressful and often frustrating process.. I know I wouldn't have got my house without their help and support, While other agents were neither constructive or transparent, Breckon and Breckon acted with decency and honesty throughout the whole process. Thoughtful, friendly and experienced

Selling a house in a more difficult market requires more thought and empathy than when the market is running 'hot'. Breckon & Breckon were able to pitch the price and offer sensible practical advice as to how best to market the property. Photographs and descriptions were very good and our comments were listened to closely. Things moved speedily but without rush. When it became clear that the market had 'turned' and a price reduction was required this was negotiated calmly and logically. Adjustments made to the presentation of the property and photographs were also changed online . We were aware that Breckon & Breckon were also considering the needs of the purchasers as well as ourselves, the vendors, and were looking to provide a good match. The experience was there to provide reassurance and to urge patience - which in the end has provided an excellent result. Selling a house is inevitably a stressful experience, but the positive, friendly approach by all the staff from the secretary to the manager has made it easier. Not living in Oxford it was difficult for me to be at the house for the activities required prior to completion. Don't just look at the price

Comparing local agents based on valuation is like comparing apples and pears. My experience (having used other agents) has been that you need the experience, local knowledge and professional of B&B. I was selling through B&B and used their know-how to guide me through a very difficult purchase as well as their advice about the prospects of interested buyers to complete the sale. As if good all this plus fantastic communication and help with removals wasn't enough, they also helped me with advice on conveyancing, administrative details and practical assistance with my sale which was due to divorce.
