GoogleAs executor of a will, I needed to process the sale of house in Cowley. Not knowing the local estate agents, I arranged for four agents to provide quotes and Breckon & Breckon were a true beacon. They were friendly, professional and very efficient. GoogleI've recently moved to Oxford and had to negotiate the minefield of buying a house in a new city, and one which seems allergic to chains! Eoin showed me around most of the properties I viewed, including the one I ended up buying. I found him very personable, helpful, knowledgeable and professional and would like to thank him for making viewings personal and informative. George handled all the negotiations efficiently and with good humour. I'm sure when I come to sell the house again Breckon and Breckon will be the first agents I'll approach to handle it for me. The process of producing a brochure and photographs for the house reflected their experience and expertise. Everything was explained, costed, and passed to us for approval. George Houlbrooke, supported by his colleagues in the City office, led the sale. He informed us regularly about viewings and their outcomes. Ultimately he smoothed the path for completion of the sale by ensuring everyone involved was on the same page.

GoogleBreckon & Breckon in Oxford were the estate agents for the sale of my flat. They acted for a fixed fee of 1.5% + VAT, and the agent was excellent. I don't live in the UK, so I needed complete support for the sale and he provided this, with regular updates by phone and email. It was a long road to find a buyer with several false starts, but I always felt his commitment to the sale and I appreciated his proactive approach, especially by acting as a quick channel for communication between myself and the prospective buyers, while our respective solicitors seemed to move at glacial speeds. I can definitely recommend them if you are looking to sell a property in Oxford.

GoogleWe have been incredibly happy with our experience of Breckon in the sale of our old property and purchase of our new one as well, which were both handled by the same agency. Throughout the entire process we were primarily in touch with George Houlbrooke who handled our process very professionally and with great communication. The process was efficient and easily managed. The rest of the Breckon team (Julie and Eoin mainly, among other members of the team) were just as great. Would fully recommend them for their extensive experience in the Botley area specifically.

GoogleBreckon and Breckon have been delightful from the first viewing to collecting my keys. Thank you to George for his continued support throughout the purchase of my first house. I think we all would have had the same sigh of relief when our purchase was completed! It wasn't the most straight-forward but George always responded promptly, followed up when I had questions and communicated effectively with all parties on both sides. Having mentioned it in the office, my colleague said 'is that with George?' when I said Breckon and Breckon. You must have a good reputation!! I don't wish to be selling too soon, but when I do, I wouldn't hesitate to use Breckon and Breckon.

GoogleMy experience with B&B, both as a buyer and a seller, could not have been better. The team, led by branch manager George Houlbrooke, see each client as a long-term investment rather than a short-term quick buck. George sold my house to me, and 7 years later sold it for me. Their valuations are informed, fair and considered, their advice grounded in decency and even kindness. Could not recommend them more. Moving from Oxford is the only reason I’d ever need to employ another estate agency again!
