GoogleA positive experience. I was speaking with James who was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful answering all the questions I asked, however small. At the very beginning I was indecisive on how to go about the whole process, and if I could actually afford to buy in Oxford. James provided quality advice and crucial information that allowed me to finally buy my first property! He kept the communication lines open throughout the whole process which took months, and provided reassurance that everything is coming together, a pleasure to deal with. GoogleMy wife and I viewed many homes in Oxford with different estate agents and Sulayman from Allen and Harris was by far the most professional and helpful agent we came across during our search. Unfortunately, on the day that we moved into our new apartment, we found that there were a number of serious problems with the place (hence why this is not a 5 star review). Apparently there had been a mix-up in dates and essential work had not been carried out before we moved in. However, we contacted Sulayman and he came over immediately and over the next couple of weeks he worked hard on our behalf to resolve all the issues. Although, we didn't have the best start in our new home, we appreciate all of Sulayman's efforts to fix things for us.

GoogleI originally wrote a good review after being prompted to by one of the letting agents (I expect a lot of the good reviews here are the same). However, the service I received since my review has been very poor. Allen and Harris have been fully managing my property and for the last 6 months I haven't been receiving rent on time once. Supposedly the reason recently has been because they've had issues with their financial systems. They have never rang me up proactively to explain this, I always have to chase them for my payments. I wouldn't recommend their fully managed services as a result. They get an extra star because their sales department seems to be operating a lot more efficiently.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleFirstly, i purchased through James, who was very helpful and gave sound advice to ensure the process was fast and smooth. Not to mention highly professional and friendly! I would definately buy from him again. After getting such positive vibes from the company i decided to also use their lettings services with Sherko and Daisy. I really cannot praise them enough! GoogleI am quite surprised their ratings are this high when they are known for shady practices. I suffered them in my own skin when, during lockdown, they bullied me out of my home because we were an "inconvenience" in their plans. They should shut down their business and do something else. GoogleA really bad company. We made an appointment with the so called letting manager for a viewing. On that day, the manager didn't show up without any information, email or calling. We even haven't received any explanation since that day. Don't choose this one if you don't want to waste your time.
