Looked at a house on a Tuesday then arranged a second viewing for the Saturday but never got confirmation so rang them just before we were setting off for the viewing to check and they said the house was sold we forgot to tell you. Thanks for nearly letting us travel 20 miles for something we couldn’t view, first time buyers but won’t be looking at any more homes they are involved with.The property was on Lindsay Avenue in Wakefield.The phone call was on Wednesday when I arranged the second viewing and apologies, forgot wasn’t the words they used but there was no inbound call to me to “advise that the property had been sold” and if you had contacted someone to cancel a viewing wouldn’t you leave a voicemail? Or attempt to call them again? So what I am saying is you forgot to call me, it’s nice if someone accepts responsibility rather than pretending they rang someone….

I am sorry you have found reason to complain regarding the service you have received, however I do have the follow comments to make regarding your post having had the opportunity to listen to the voice recording between yourself and our member of staff on Saturday morning,You booked in your second viewing of the property with a colleague on Thursday 13th January. The viewing was confirmed with you for Saturday 15th at 2:30pm. On Saturday 15th you contact our Wakefield office at 11:15am as you had not received our usual text reminder about the viewing. At this point a member of the weekend staff commented that we had attempted to contact you to advise that the property had been sold and that the viewing at 2:30pm could not go ahead.We certainly did not tell you that ‘we had forgot’. If you would like a copy of the recording then we are more than happy to send this to you. Please contact us directly on mail@richardkendall.co.uk.However I am sorry that we were unable to make contact with you to advise of the sale agreed. Should you wish to discuss this matter with us further then please do not hesitate to contact us.Update - Thank you for editing your review following our initial response. It is clear from our phone call with you that we have been unable to contact you to advise that the property had been sold and for this we do apologise. We are sorry that you feel you will not be able to peruse any properties marketed by us in the future, despite that all other correspondence with us had been dealt with promptly and efficiently. Again all our phones calls with you can be sent on to you for your information which confirms our view. Should you change your view please do not hesitate to contact us.

GoogleExcellent service from start to finish. Photos and valuation done on Tuesday, listed for sale Thursday and offer accepted Saturday. A few minor blips and slight misinformation at first, but as soon as we were placed with Melanie we didn't have a single issue, and the sale was very straight forward. Listed, sold and completed within 11 week! However we would not recommend their mortgage advisor at all, very unprofessional and hard to get hold of.

Horrible company ,, complete unprofessional and rude ..Booked a viewing for a house in Ossett for 10.30 on 01/06,, no agent showed up to show us around .. ( even though we had rung a second time to confirm the booking ) .. rand Kendal’s up to see what was going on and was diverted to the Huddersfield office and they claimed they had no details for our viewing ..They then then re booked us in for a viewing on 08/06 at 10.45 ..We then received a call on 04/06 telling us they were cancelling the booking as they had had enough people that had already viewed the house and would be doing no more viewings ..No apologies for driving and hour from Manchester on the Saturday morning for nothing , no apologies for totally wasting our time ..
