GoogleIan and his team have done a marvellous job of selling our house. From the moment Ian came to value the property to the completion of the sale we have received excellent customer service from everyone involved. Nothing was too much trouble and they did all the viewings for us which made the whole process stress free and very easy. The house sold very quickly and we have just completed 11 weeks later !!! Overall a fantastic company to deal with. Highly professional staff who are friendly and efficient . We couldn't have asked for a better service. We would highly recommend .Thank you all so much

GoogleEdit in response: I have multiple email receipts that show slow replies, along with multiple other people agreeing that Reeds Rains haven't acted as prompt as they should've. Being a first time buyer, I didn't find it stressful it was just very annoying. People promise things that they never deliver and say things are done which arent. Definitely would not recommend or use Reeds Rains Ossett. Slow and poor communication of incorrect information. Asked multiple times to confirm things and they never got back to me, turned out to be different to what was stated in the advert. Unfriendly. Always seemed uninterested when viewing the property and over the phone. Difficult to get hold of via email but would expect you (and solicitors) to reply quickly. Others who work there may be good but this was Emily and Ian.
I'm really sorry you felt this way Issy, but as explained during the course of your purchase, that purchasing a property sometimes can seem stressful especially when it is your first experience. Having reviewed your comments I can confirm we responded promptly to all your emails and constantly pushed the solicitors involved. Ultimately it is down to solicitors to get enquiries resolved before completion. Wishing you all the very best in your new home.

GoogleWas put on the list to view an apartment for rent in Ossett. I told them I was driving from over an hour away (51 miles) in North Yorkshire to see it. I arrived in Ossett about an hour before the viewing appointment and they called me to cancel the viewing as the landlord had accepted someone who viewed it the day before. Wasted half a day, 100 miles of petrol and vehicle wear and tear. Very frustrating. Edit: Reply to reply. That's good for you, and good for the landlord as not caring about wasting people's time doesn't cost you anything. Apart from good-will, but you don't seem to care about losing that. If you are going to offer a property and you make appointments for people to view it then you should honour that appointment and not cancel them an hour or so before and waste people's time and money. If you and your industry care about the tenants, then you should insist that each block of appointments is fulfilled and the landlords receive all the applications before he/she review them along with the previous ones and makes a choice. When the person called me to cancel, they didn't even apologise, just reeled off a statement about the cancelation. When I told them I'd rented a car and was taking a 100 mile round trip to view the place, they just reeled off the same statement as if they didn't hear me. Maybe you don't care, but this is the kind of thing that earns the estate agent business such a poor reputation. And why would you think I want you to give me updates on your service after I was treated in such a shabby way the first time?
Dear Peter, Unfortantly sometimes in this fast placed industry situations like this do arise. On this occasion we have followed the landlords instructions and proceeded with an application from a previous viewing. We will continue to keep you upto date with all other potensial properties.

FacebookNo, not to anyone.They are completely dishonest and the way we were treated recently was an absolute disgrace.We made an appointment to view a property, which took us an hour to get there, knowing full well that it was already taken anyway.Total waste of valuable time with no explanation or apology.It's hard enough to find accommodation without total incompetence from an inept company.Absolute shocking way to treat potential customers.I will never use your company again, and will certainly not be recommending you to anyone.
Unfortunately due to circumstances out of our control the tenant had a medical episode just before the viewing was to take place. We did speak to yourself and did try to re arrange the appointment. Unfortunately an application did get put forward from a previous appointment. I do hope you understand and we hope that we can arrange you another viewing on any other property. Regards Reeds Rains
