We recently sold our property and bought with JDM in Petts Wood and honestly couldn’t be happier with the experience. We had previously been on the market with another local agent and, unfortunately, it just wasn’t a positive experience. Communication was lacking and we didn’t feel confident in the process. The difference when we moved to JDM was night and day. JDM took our property back on and had it sold within just 5 days! From start to finish, everyone was incredibly professional, proactive and genuinely friendly. We felt informed and supported every step of the way. Teresa and Jenny were absolutely brilliant, knowledgeable, responsive and always happy to help. And a very special shout out to Trish, who was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I actually miss speaking to her! If you’re looking to sell in Petts Wood, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend JDM. In our experience, they are definitely the best agents in the area.

We had a probate house sale which in itself is quite an emotional thing. We had lots of viewings booked in and received a few offers in Sept and went with a lady who we were all told was in a good position to proceed. The buyer then proceeded to take an absolute age to do any paperwork or get any survey etc organised. Finally doing this at the begining of December!!! Causing masses of un-needed stress. This buyer eventually pulled out on exchange day at the end of January, after being given at least 4 occasions when she was asked if she actually still wanted the house Trish was a constant support during this time and was in touch regularly updating us. We put the house back on the market immediately and within 24 hrs had 4 viewings booked in for the Saturday. From this we got 3 offers and a buyer ready to proceed immediatley. Within 5 weeks of the viewing we have exchanged and completed with Trish again being the point of contact. Over the course of both sales we have probably spoken to everyone who works in the Petts Wood branch and have always been treated with courtesy and respect. We would use JDM again and wish the new owners a very long and happy life in their new home and thank them for making the 2nd time a much nicer and speedier experience.

The best estate agents without hesitating from A to Z. We tried two others nearby and none of them equaled the quality of work you get from JDM. In less than three months our house was sold and we had so many quality viewings in the meantime! Then the painful part started... we were trapped in a chain of 7 households and the transaction has been unexpectedly very difficult, it required a real sense of diplomacy as well as a great amount of energy and commitment to constantly chase and follow up along the chain - and this over an extended period of 7 months! Trish was always extremely prompt to react, always there to give updates and advice and she really went the extra mile(s) for us until we all knew what was actually going on in this chain. She would not give up and we felt we could really count on her to make it work. Trish has played a crucial role as a sales coordinator in making this sale a success. Worst experience with an estate agent. This branch is completely disorganised from the manager down. Complaints are left undealt with for months, and then only handled when senior partners get involved. Staff are rude and hostile. There is no consistency - everyone you call/email you'll get a different response from a different person contradicting everything else that has been advised. I would have given just one star, but there are a few members of staff who obviously care about their work and clients so the second star is for them.

I purchased a property through JDM and the experience was nothing but positive. Trying to sell my property through a different agent was hard and I could tell the difference in service immediately. If JDM were in my area then I would have used them to sell my property too. It was a tricky drawn out process from my end but JDM were excellent at keeping things moving and dealing with Trish was really great and she was extremely good at keeping things on track and she was very good and chasing people on my end too to keep things moving along. If I decide to sell my property in the future then JDM will be my estate agent of choice.

I decided to put my house on the market last year in July, after realising I needed a change of pace and lifestyle. I decided to use JDM, and from the very start when Sam, their Sales Manager came to visit I knew instantly it was the right decision. Within 10 days the house was on the market and within no time I got an offer which I accepted. This was early August and unknown to us it would be the start of a nightmare. Myself and JDM anticipated a quick sale due to the short chain, however in Oct we found out the buyers online conveyancers, DC Law had lost the buyers completed forms which caused a huge delay. Next thing we knew, DC Law was involved in a huge cyber attack in November and we were pushed back another 7-8 weeks. By this time it was Christmas and we were nowhere near exchange or completion. Throughout this time I went through a tremendous amount of stress, physically, mentally and financially. Plus, I was not working and unable to pay my mortgage, and receiving repossession letters monthly.. However, throughout all those horrendous months that went by, JDM stood by me. One person in particular was Trish. She helped me through so many barriers and was so understanding, patient and caring towards me. She was always on hand and was full of care and empathy for the situation. Not only was she tremendous in her support, she was also fair & firm when dealing with all the legalities and unprofessional delays by companies, who in my opinion, should not have even been trading in conveyancing. All the months went by, then when it got to February and nothing had even changed, I took the bold decision to pull the sale from my buyer and re-market the house. Thanks to Sam and George in the sales team the house was resold within 3 weeks. Once again, the sale was passed over to Trish who again became my 'go-to' person and she was AMAZING. She did everything on point, whether it be with the buyers agent or their solicitor, she was there making sure everything went smoothly, and I could not thank her enough. After 13 weeks we exchanged and got our completion date for the end of June and we were all ecstatic. I popped by especially to show my thanks with some cakes for all the staff and a bouquet of flowers for Trish to show how much I appreciated her, as a person, plus all her hard work. If you are looking for an Estate Agent, look no further. Sign up now to JDM and you won't regret it. Thankfully, upon completion, I do remember myself and Trish having a short conversation which said " Trish don't worry I will never be selling a house again" at which she replied " Thank goodness! - Thank you JDM for all your hard work & support over the last 10 months.
