Excellent service from the team at Ryder & Dutton I recently sold a property through Ryder & Dutton, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the initial valuation to the final completion, the entire process was managed with great professionalism and efficiency. A special thank you to Ada, who was absolutely fantastic throughout. Her communication was excellent, and she was always on hand to answer questions and provide updates, which made a potentially stressful time much easier to navigate. Ryder & Dutton handled the sale of a family home and their service was outstanding. We had a sale agreed within a week of the property going on the market and thereafter the brilliant Geraldine Marsden was hugely proactive, helpful and good humoured in steering the sale through to Exchange and Completion. Excellent Letting Experience

My move in process was done by agent Sinyee. Sinyee has been absolutely fantastic throughout the whole letting process. She has been professional, friendly, and very responsive to all of my questions and emails. She kept me updated at every stage, from the application and referencing process through to arranging my move-in. Even when there were delays outside of her control, she communicated honestly and kept me informed, which I really appreciated. She was always patient, helpful, and willing to assist with any queries I had.

Geraldine was fantastic as my move…

Geraldine was fantastic as my move manager. I was able to get in touch with her instantly if I needed anything, nothing was too much trouble and she assisted me as best she could with the process even when there were delays. Dylan who assisted with my sale was also fantastic and discussed offers and negotiations immediately, offering fantastic advice along the way and Tony was lovely when he came to value the house. I had my house valued with a number of agencies but Ryder and Dutton gave me the best estimate and were able to get the ball rolling quickly! The proof is in the pudding when you see the number of Sold signs through the borough.

2nd time using R&D and great service as always!

This is the second time I have used R&D and the reason I did was how impressed I was last time. We recently completed the sale of the family home (our family has owned the property since the 1960's) and used Ryder & Dutton in Heywood to handle the sale. We did originally look around at local estate agents but with Ryder & Dutton's experience and reputation we decided to put the sale in their hands. From start to finish everyone we have dealt with at Ryder & Dutton has been helpful, pleasant and throughly professional. I feel like we have had contact with quite a few Ryder & Dutton colleagues during the process and each one of them has been a pleasure to deal with. I wouldn't want to miss anyone out so I won't do names but Jenna and all her colleagues in the office have all been great to deal with. I would also single out Catherine Salisbury who was our nominated Move Manager for particular mention. She has been totally professional and helpful all through the process. She has kept us informed - whether by telephone or email - all along and is always very positive and helpful. I used Ryder & Dutton to sell my house. Estate agents have really upped their game 26 years on from my last house move! I had a dedicated move manager for each step of the process, firstly Michaela who managed the sale & secondly Veda who kept everyone up to speed, liaising with solicitors and kept things on track. My experience with Ryder & Dutton has been extremely distressing. After purchasing my property, I discovered that Japanese knotweed had previously been identified near the property. I have since incurred significant costs for surveys, valuations and a proposed treatment plan, and the issue has delayed my landscaping project and affected my enjoyment of my home. What I find most concerning is that Ryder & Dutton’s response to my complaint is that I was allegedly informed verbally before completion. I do not recall being properly informed of the extent of the issue and have seen no written evidence that this information was clearly disclosed to me before I committed to purchasing the property. There was already a Japanese knotweed report in existence, and the vendor was aware of the issue. In my view, this information should have been fully documented and provided so that I could make an informed decision before proceeding. I am now pursuing the matter through the appropriate complaints process. Buyers should ensure that any environmental issues, including Japanese knotweed, are fully disclosed and evidenced in writing before purchasing a property.
