We contacted a number of estate agents to sell our flat, Madison Oakley stood out from the rest as being the most professional, straight taking and friendly of them all. Our property was photographed and up for sale in a matter of days, and sold in 7! From the moment we put our house on the market, we felt very confident in the professional hands of Will from Madison Oakley. They introduced high quality clients to view our house, and within a reasonably short period of time, they found us a buyer. Buying a house is always stressful even when things are going smoothly, so we owe a huge debt of gratitude to Sarah, who liaised with all parties and expertly managed the whole procedure from start to finish. That’s not forgetting Amanda, and Carey, who were always there for any other issues. A great little independent Estate Agents, friendly and approachable, Madison Oakley are head and shoulders above the big corporates. The process of buying and selling houses is loaded with weighty decisions, not least who / what you will use to place your property on the market. Safe to say, there was not a single moment (in what turned out to be a long and challenging process) that we regretted our decision to appoint Madison Oakley as our estate agents. We found them to be honest, open and incredibly supportive from start to finish. We faced a number of hurdles and knock backs (through no fault of theirs) and were guided with a level of efficiency, calm and determination that resulted in us ending up exactly where we wanted to be. Cannot recommend at all. Asked them out to value my property as I had seen so many of their signs in Bath, but wish I hadn't bothered. From the moment he arrived, he couldn't stop pointing out negative things about the place, not once did he mention anything positive. He then sat down and gave me a 30-minute spiel about how "differently" he works to all of the other agents, which was a load of rubbish. I ended up selling my place with another agent for 15% more than Madison Oakley recommended, to the first person who viewed it! Madison Oakley were offensive, arrogant and I would not recommend them at all.

We chose Madison Oakley to sell our property as we were impressed with Carey's thorough approach to valuing the property and his knowledge of the local property market (Oldfield Park). He also gave us one of the highest valuations which normally should set alarm bells ringing but in this case his instincts were sound and we sold on the first day of viewings for full asking price. Aside from this obvious plus, we found Carey and Will to be extremely helpful, friendly and easy to deal with throughout which made the whole process far less stressful than it might have been! If you are thinking of selling in Oldfield Park I would definitely recommend Madison Oakley.

Madison Oakley helped us find and purchase our first home. Their online descriptions of each property were excellent, including a full map of every room. During viewings they were also very knowledgeable about the properties themselves, knowing their histories and previous modifications that had been done to the buildings. Unlike other estate agents we encountered, Madison Oakley took their profession very seriously, and were also very helpful when we were negotiating with the (very difficult and disorganised) seller of the property. Have already recommended them to several other people finding and letting properties within Bath.
