I wanted to express my gratitude to Connells Oldbury for the sale of our house - specifically Greg, Kiri and Charlotte for going out of their way to market the house and do all the viewings, but a big thank you to the entire team as a whole. I think they all deserve immense praise for the work they put in to sell our house which was what I'd describe as a fixer upper, and by no means an easy sell like some of the houses we've had in the past. We were with another estate agent to begin with who got us 8 viewings in 5 months, all of which we had to conduct ourselves... this was before lockdown too which was ridiculous. Left us feeling dejected but found out they wasn't even actively advertising it - rather wait for people to call in from the Rightmove advert which I could have done without their help. Decided to try Connells Oldbury and was probably the best decision we made as we wouldn't have sold the house without them - no doubt about it. Not only did they get us more viewings from the day it was put up for sale (30+ in the first 14 days), they did them all themselves so we didn't even need to be in - and called potential buyers letting them know our property had just come up for sale. We got feedback after the viewings (they would call us, I didn't have to chase like with the last EA) which was invaluable in letting us know what people REALLY thought of the house. They were also significantly cheaper than the original agents, and were better than the solicitors in keeping us updated on the progress of the sale. They'd chase the buyers when we were waiting for something to be signed (etc) which would have taken a few days if we'd done it solely through the solicitors. I wouldn't even have to ask them to do this, I'd let them know something was outstanding from the buyer and they'd just say leave it with them and they'd get back to us - and they always did. Extremely trustworthy, to the point I cut a set of housekeys for them to do viewings while we were at work - literally took a massive amount of stress off our shoulders doing the viewings, and during times where we wouldn't be impacted. Had a number of problems with buyers and their solicitors and we unfortunately had 3 failed sales (buyer's solicitors missing deadlines, buyers asking for more money off after agreed price, and of course COVID19 halting the country) but these guys would always be positive and reassure us that it's not the end of the world and that the house would sell. Haven't got a single negative thing to say about the experience, I truly believe they worked their arses off to sell our house, and couldn't recommend them enough. From my first phone call and meeting with Greg until handing over the keys to Kiri, the whole team have been extremely professional. They were always available to answer any queries, and prompt with responses. Overall it took just over 3 months to market, sell and exchange my property. Although I found it stressful at times, they were always there to assist. It was my first time selling a property and Kiri helped immensely by keeping me up to date with everything that was going on and also letting me know exactly what I needed to do myself. I highly recommend this thoroughly professional team to deal with any property needs.

I am not happy with their service, they only just try to advertise the house and give false informatiom to their clients. Even they dont do the fully examine the house before letting to someone..As a result, tenats facing issues while paying bills. Seriously, i personally do not advice anyone to make a contract with connells, especially oldbury branch..

I don’t often leave reviews however I felt the had to let others know about the experience I’ve received through Connells. I was a first time buyer with pretty basic knowledge as to what was expected and the whole process itself however I felt I made the right decision choosing Connells as they took away my worries instantly. I first met Antoinette who through her friendly, comfortable yet highly professional manner put me at ease right away. She asked me to inform her of my needs and worked on my property search as well as the mortgage application. I received an outstanding service from Antoinette she took care of everything, she was constantly in communication with me regarding the progress of the application and chasing up all the paper work.
