I had a brilliant experience with the Mortgage Broker. My adviser Gurpreet Kaur was so helpful, knowledgeable and made the entire process feel easy and stress free. The whole team are fantastic. It has been a roller coaster of a ride trying to find a rental property as a sole applicant, especially in these times. Lots of set backs in my journey with lovely properties missed. I know some of you resonate. I was close to giving up until I found this property through Connells Oldbury. This property viewing was my second viewing with Chloe. She was professional, listened, advised and answered my questions. I applied immediately after viewing. The application process was the best so far. As soon as I got a 'Yes' from the landlord, the referencing process went smoothly. Any delays experienced were not from Connells team - Chloe and Andy (The 'A' team). Chloe and Andy were very quick to respond to emails and followed up queries with the Landlord. The whole process was smooth including getting ready to move in with Tili. We had a brilliant experience with Connells Oldbury from the start. They're all very responsive, friendly, and accommodating. Viewing the property felt very free and not at all pressured, with Andy (Lettings Manager) keeping his distance to allow us to roam freely at our own pace, while being on hand for any questions - This really was the best viewing experience we've had! The referencing process handled by Chloe was rapid and smooth, as was the moving in process. They even provided us with a lovely welcome package on the day we moved in. If we decide to move again in the area, Connells Oldbury will absolutely be our first stop. Everybody is so lovely and professional.

Had a viewing booked for a house. Booking process was fine but when viewing the house the landlord let me in and the agent was 10 minutes late. Property was in filthy condition to start. Many cowboy jobs around the house I was told to just ask the landlord. A vent was duct taped up and painted over (no joke). Big rug down to hide missing kitchen floor tiles. Ceilings bent down and inwards. The agent from Connells barely answered any questions, gave really blank answers and when asked about black mould growing in the property just said “we wouldn’t put a property with mould on the market” when I was POINTING at the mould in the property. She just ignored me. Unmistakeable mould - my old flat had the same issue. When I asked her about the price she told me the landlord makes it. I asked the landlord and he told me to ask her. Frankly shocking a dirty house with holes and broken tiles and mould is being priced at 1,100pcm. This viewed last week and property still on website at same price. Viewed a house down the road, different agent, far bigger and far better condition priced only 950… EDIT: since their response and email, I did contact the email to take this complaint further. I was then told to complain through a different process and then told the email was wrong in the first place. A performative comment to attempt to “fix” the issue when, in reality, nothing has been done! I’m not jumping through hoops to perform to your complaints process you’ve got this complaint so deal with it!
