GoogleWe have worked with Jenny, Vernon and team over the past few years and have both bought and sold through Moores on more than one occasion. When it comes to buying property in and around Rutland, I could not recommend anyone else higher than Moores. They have a great network of repeat customers and contacts which means they always have a handle on what is moving in the market. I also want to recommend Jess in the team who is always extremely responsive and has the customer's best interest at heart. We have not had the easiest experiences of buying/selling but I know that we always have the team at Moores looking after our best interests. I highly recommend the Moores team, whether you are buying or selling. Keep up the great work!

We were kept informed at all stages of our sale, with phone calls and emails being responded to quickly and efficiently. This was not a straightforward sale and Moores came up with a creative solution.

GoogleBuying a house during the Covid-19 pandemic has at times been stressful to say the least however Jenny and her team have gone above and beyond to ensure we have been able to complete the purchase of our first home and ensure we were able to move in! Jenny in particular took time out of her day to contact our solicitors directly to push for completion and throughout maintained contact with us! GoogleHaving recently sold a 6000 square foot, 6 bedroom, 6 bathroom 15 acre luxury 8 stable equestrian property in Cheshire, we were looking for a small base to rent, in Rutland to pursue new business ventures in the area, whilst maintaining our other new large Cheshire base. Despite offering full rental upfront and having excellent rating we were still waiting 4 days later with no news. Having bought and sold many houses over the last 20 years and worked with many estate agents in the purchase sector, I am hugely disappointed by the unprofessional, inexperienced and rude manner of Moores. When we do sell another property, as we now have interest to be more permanent in the Rutland area, sadly we will not be using this agent. Update: I have emailed yourselves to advise you to remove comments that were not actions made by myself, my only contact directly was one phone call. I did not even view the property as I was too busy. Please can you also remove other parties names as you should only be responding to myself and my experience.NegativeProfessionalism
We are disappointed that you didn’t choose to contact us directly with your concerns rather than take to social media but having looked into the correspondence between yourselves and our colleague, we understand the sequence of events to be as follow: • Your 1st email to our colleague was on Thursday Jan 14th at 03:22 PM: With my partner and myself being very keen on this property, would it be possible to submit an application for this property today prior to our viewing on Thursday 21st? • Our response to you was an hour later: Yes of course you may do, I have attached the application forms if you and your partner can please fill one out each. • Multiple viewings of the property then took place on Thursday 21st and we received your email on Thursday 21st at 15:37: Upon viewing the property at 46 Leicester Road in Uppingham today, My partner and I are very impressed and would like to submit the application for the property. I attach our applications as requested. • It was explained that we had multiple applications for the property and had therefore presented an overview of the applications to our Landlords and awaited their decision as to who they would like us to reference. Our colleague messaged you on Friday 22nd in the afternoon asking if you had any pets and when you confirmed that was not the case, she responded on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 4:11:39 PM: Thank you for confirming, hopefully should have an answer this afternoon! • Mrs Irving also called our colleague on Friday afternoon asking if there was an update and she explained that Mr Rigby had been emailed just half an hour before and Mrs Irving explained she hadn’t spoken with Mr Rigby at that point. • Despite it being after hours on a Friday evening, our colleague continued to keep an eye on her email and messaged Mr Rigby at 19:11 Just come on to check my emails and no reply from the landlord yet. Sorry to keep you waiting but I’ll let you know as soon as she comes back to me. • Mr Rigby then responded at 7:27 PM: Thank you for getting back to me and keeping us updated. Regards, Andy. • Our colleague wasn’t working on Saturday however popped in to see a colleague who was and was made aware that she had received a call frustrated at the lack of decision from our Landlords. Our colleague therefore messaged you both further at 11:18: Hi Andy & Lisa, I have just had a message from my colleague Jess expressing that you are disappointed in still having no update on your application. I am not working today but as you can see from my email last night at 7.10pm I did check whether a response has been received and made you aware that I still haven't heard back from the landlord. I apologise to keep you waiting but as you are aware there were other applications so can only assume the landlord is taking time to consider their best option. Hope and trust you can understand this. Have a good weekend and hope to update you on Monday. We understood that you withdrew your application on the Monday am shortly before we received a phone call from our landlords with their instructions. Having taken a thorough look through the correspondence we cannot agree that our colleague was rude or unprofessional in anyway. Quite the opposite. She went above and beyond to keep you informed in a friendly and timely manner in the absence of instructions from our Landlord whose decision we awaited. Their instructions were requested on the Thursday and were received on the Monday. The new tenant takes possession this Friday. Having approached you with a resume of the facts and asked you to consider removing this post, we are saddened that you wish to live it however on a positive note, are pleased to hear you managed to secure a rental elsewhere.

The sale was very complicated but Jenny was “so on the ball” she took all the stress away and any problems we faced were dealt with swiftly and efficiently. At the end of the process we and I’m sure the buyers had a stress free transaction. I would highly recommend Moores to my friends and family.
