GoogleNot very professional. A minimum ten days and multiple forms and referencing needed just to book a viewing.
As a landlord I would never give my property to them, loosing out on potential good tenants and money in the long winded process JUST to book a viewing.

Thank you for your review. For the record, our Landlords are happy that we take the time to check an applicant's suitability & eligibility, and pre-qualify prior to booking in a viewing. It makes no sense in wasting both an applicant's time/fuel & agent's time/fuel by showing them a property, if the Landlord has not approved the application in principle, and if the applicant cannot afford the property etc. For the record, we have timed that an application form can be completed in ten minutes. If you are not willing to invest ten minutes, into looking to apply for a rental property, then we are not sure how far such minimal effort will take you in other areas in life.

We use a referencing company called Let Alliance. Most estate agencies will use a referencing company, and most referencing companies operate in near-identical ways. You are correct that the information provided by an applicant is confidential and Let Alliance follow all the relevant data protection protocols accordingly. Due to the large volume of enquiries and applications we are now receiving on rental properties, due to extremely high demand and shortage of supply in the rental sector, we are now having to pre-qualify applicants initially, and obtaining landlord approval in principle, by requesting a Tenant to complete an application form. We do not carry out referencing checks, but it is just for informational purposes preliminarily. Unfortunately it is not viable for us to book in 50+ people in for a viewing, especially as many of these properties advertised are currently Tenanted and housing all their possessions etc. We explain our process from the start, and inform applicants that we can only notify them if their application is successful, due to the large volume of applications we receive. However up until a decision has been made we always respond to applicants that request updates on their application. Upon receiving our email which outlines are process, you can then decided whether you wish to engage in it or not. If you are not willing to invest your time and energy into renting a property, then that is your call. Our perspective on life is that, nothing in this life will fall from the heavens onto your lap, and you will need to put effort into things, in order to achieve or accomplish a successful outcome. We cannot guarantee a successful outcome from the start, all we can do is give every applicant a fair opportunity and platform to apply and be taken into consideration for the property. Landlords are often having to review in excess of 70+ applicants for every popular rental property at present, so competition is fierce at this moment in time.

GoogleTerrible service they left us with no boiler for 4 months. Then after we left the tried to claim £490.00 from my deposit with ridiculous accusations. I disputed this as the claims were completely untrue. The independant resolution didnt award them a penny and justice was done it did take over 2 months but well worth it as i will now receive the £490 back.
A couple of weeks before i was due to leave Remi asked if they could send someone round to do a valuation which i refused as they had not bothered to fix the boiler. He tried to bribe me with a £150 to do the valuation which i still declined. Avoid this letting agent as believe me you will regret it if not!!!NegativeQuality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleDisgusting service, showed an interest in viewing 3 properties and then had to call twice to check if my application was received. they took ages to get back to me which I found worrying as I was asked to provide personal details. About a month past still nothing, disgusting. When I did chase it up again they told me that I would only be called if my application was successful they don't even keep you informed or updated on anything to make you feel confident with them. the quickest response got from them was when I asked them to delete my details within 10-15 mins and received a sarcastic reply I wouldn't recommend them to anyone no customer service skills glad I quit before anything started, using poor excuses such as 'very high demand'NegativeQuality

We were in regular correspondence with this applicant and responded to all their enquiries and requests for updates efficiently. Unfortunately we are not in control of how quickly a landlord makes a decision, especially due to the high volume of applications we receive on our rental properties. It can take some time for the landlord to review all the applications that are submitted for the property.

They will try to sell the property to their mates at under market value, by telling all potential buyers the property is sold or under offer when in reality it isn’t. Avoid these conmen at all costs.
