Such as a real family operates, a lack of communication and understanding seems to be prevalent in this family run franchise. One can only presume their behaviour comes from that of farm animals considering the way they treat their customers. Accusing tenants of thieving keys, albeit keys that are of no use to us, accusations of lying, emails containing sensitive information of other tenants, being stuck in a property with no heating over winter months that is falling apart in front of us and generally having to deal with staff lacking basic English skills are all things you can look forward to if you chose to rent from these Neanderthals.

Really awful as rental agents...they will never stand up for you as a tenant..their sole concern is lining their pockets so if you end up with a bad landlord like we did the agents will do everything they can to keep them happy even if it means lying and cheating tenants out of money. Really avoid if possible, there are agents out there that will treat you better. These guys will rob you blind, even though in their own words you might be "model tenants"...total lack of scruples who front dodgy landlords! They also insist on 3 monthly inspections and generally look on their tenants as cockroaches. Be warned.

Avoid them if you don't want to loose a lot of money. Lack of professionalism. Lack of common sense. If you have any problem with the property you rent, you will never get any help to fix them. Lot of lies or don't even remember things like mixing appointments. You are waiting for them, but don't come. Then they want you to charge, because they came on a different time, but you were not at home. Not once, not twice.... etc.

The reviews speak for themselves. We have had the worst experience as tenants under Belvoir. They take months to sort out housing repairs, claim the correct person to speak to is never there when you call in (ironic - more to the point that they claim ONLY that one person can help in the office!) and just generally do not care about the tenants. After warning them on numerous occasions about lack of heating for 10 months, we had a huge breakout in mould and suffered bad chest infections. We was then simply told to “clean it up.” No ownership in their actions and not a single ounce of conscience. It also took them almost 3 months to put down a replacement carpet after the previous tenants ruined it that much, we could not use the living room.

We recently sold our house in Hinckley and chose Belvoir as the agent. Thank goodness we did, from Paul Tyson’s expert advice at the beginning, right through to the end they were exceptional and went out of their way to sort out some of the many problems that arose. Ruth Moss even went to collect paperwork at 7.00pm one evening to ensure we met a deadline! We would highly recommend anyone selling a property to use Belvoir. They may not be the cheapest but without their hard work, help and guidance I’m not sure our sale would have completed. Many thanks to all at Belvoir, you’re a great team!”

I'm not sure who they think they are. The snobbiest estate agents I've ever spoken to. They interrogate you on the phone and refuse to even give you a viewing if you don't pass their absurd criteria. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Very impressed with the valuation, and estate agents. As a local estate agents it has good foot traffic and the offices look impressive. Prices for their services quoted where also very competitively priced, and they were very free when able to contact us. Emailed us in the evening and knew I started earlier so asked if they could contact me before the start of the day. Very impressed overall.

It's very rare for me to do a review - it's usually when I received bad service but in this case - it's praise for having an agent who simply gets on with the job and makes renting out my property so easy. Belvoir took over the management of my rental property several years ago after I received a poor service from another agent. They do their inspections, they ensure I get paid and they ensure the tennant and landlord are happy with all the arangements. I get absolutely no hassle from them or the tennant. They recently negotiated a rent increase for me without incident. Thank you I'm very happy with the service I receive and would recommend them to anyone.

This is very straightforward. We discuss our requirements, agree a service and price, Belvoir always do exactly what they say they will do in a professional and efficient manner. There have been instances where they could have levied a charge without us being aware the service in question was not required, this has never happened. You cannot buy that level of trust. As a landlord with several rental properties I moved my portfolio to the Belvoir Hinckley branch when they first opened. Tenant issues and problems are dealt with swiftly and fairly and if using their own tradesmen the prices are competitive and removes all the hassle of having to get involved. Horrible company. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. They let themselves into our rented house without warning, and when we complained they threatened to evict us. The owner Clayton Foston has also just been found guilty of unlawful eviction and issued criminal behaviour order. Do not use!!!
