Update.... I was treated appallingly when I left their agency. I was told of issues that were there when i arrived, despite the evidence being on their own inventory. Refused to pay them. Showed them my evidence, thay backed off. Jasmine was my point of contact. She exudes professionalism and efficiency with a complimentary kind nature. From viewing and referencing to signing contracts and issuing keys, the process was seamless. We both communicated well and avoided unnecessary delays. I strongly recommend Jasmine to anyone looking for a committed agent - she is an individual who truly believes in having good work ethics with the customer experience and their satisfaction high on the agenda. The team at Robert Ellis were absolutely fantastic. We had a house which had a limited audience in a tough market, and we went through three other estate agents first - the difference when we changed to Robert Ellis was nothing short of astounding. They were responsive, straight talking, practical, and really listened to what we wanted to do. They vetted buyers properly so that curb kickers were weeded out, and they were proactive in getting feedback and ensuring that potential buyers understood the house and the situation. This was needed to help us get a very difficult conveyancing situation (due to other parties) over the line. Hollie was a pleasure to deal with and was excellent at making reasonable adjustments for us during the viewing / booking / feedback part of the process, she was brilliant at updating us. Sandra was a calm voice of reason and was responsive and kind during the most stressful times. Lauren's proactive approach helped save the entire chain from collapse and her patience and tenacity when dealing with unresponsive and incompetent professionals further up the chain was astonishing! She was simply a pleasure to deal with, and we would not hesitate to sing her praises from the rooftops, genuinely. She made all the difference and we felt in safe hands throughout. We can't thank all of the team enough!

Firstly Robert Ellis had been employed by the person selling the property we now own. However working within the Arnold Branch is one of the most tenacious people I have ever come across and I’ve met a few in my time! Her name is Lauren Williamson and out of the many people involved in what should , have been a relatively simple chain, she has given the best service by far. If it wasn’t for Lauren we simply wouldn’t have moved house this year. She found out and shared information that not even my own solicitor shared. Most importantly was the moral support she gave. She is extremely professional, friendly and has a fantastic sense of humour. I had less contact with the others in the branch but they seem to be cut from the same cloth. She is a credit to her branch and the company as a whole. If you are selling or buying near Arnold pick Robert Ellis you can’t do better. (BTW I am in no way related to Robert Ellis or Lauren)

It's been just over 2 months since we sold our house with Robert Ellis in Arnold. We haven't received final correspondence from them/'how did we do' or 'thanks for your business' so I'll leave my review on here. We were initially impressed with them and while we had a figure in mind, the valuer was insistent she could get 15k over that. Guided by them, this is what it was listed as. As we were not living at the property, they did all the viewings. There were apparently numerous viewings, all of whom 'loved the property' but very few offers. Even though we received feedback from the friendly girls in the office, a chance remark sometime later said that someone had been willing to pay 15k under the asking price but they had thought we would turn them down. Disappointing that this was never mentioned at the time. I was annoyed that people keeping an eye on the property for us had to report several things to us. Blinds left open, lights left on... especially as the property was empty, and I was extremely annoyed when we returned to find both our toilets had been used and unflushed. That is not a smell you want to return to in the middle of summer! When we did accept an offer 7 months later we had planned to return when contracts were exchanged to clear out our remaining possessions and tidy the garden as it had been left for some months. We were hesitant when the buyers wanted to 'show their family' the house but were assured they knew the situation. We were surprised some days later with comments, and questions about all of our 'mess' backed up with photos! I mean we hadn't even moved out, was still some time off finalising so what was the problem? When we returned a few days later, our toilet had once again been used and unflushed. Kitchen chairs and stools all around the kitchen like they'd had a party, and our lounge furniture completely rearranged! The heavy settee, which we would lift to move, just scraped along the floor like they didn't care. I was quite upset with them at the end and glad when it was all over.

Robert Ellis recently helped us with the sale of our home. Within hours of calling, our for sale sign was up and our photos were booked in for 2 days time. Within around 10 days of it going online we had had I think 6 or so viewings and our home was officially sold. The whole process was incredibly efficient and the ladies at the office and who came to our home (Megan, Lauren & Sandra) absolutely lovely and made our first time selling a home so simple and straightforward. A special shout out to Sandra & Megan who had to put up with my incessant calling towards the end of our sale going through (we were eager to get to our new home haha!). Sandra was always happy to chase solicitors more than expected to, and helped us keep everything moving. I was an Executer for a house which I put in the hands of the Robert Ellis team in Arnold, who were very enthusiastic and obtained a constant stream of viewings, after several months a sale was agreed and I prepared the house, leaving it empty as the wishes of the buyer, then sadly the buyer’s chain was broken so once again the house was on the market , this time looking very different ,but true to form the team gained a constant stream of viewings eventually securing a satisfactory sale which has now completed.
